First time dining at Fin & Fino and while I would definitely return there were some things that could have been done better. The food overall was very flavorful - really enjoyed the Lamb rigatoni and the Trout. However the oysters were DISAPPOINTING - if you are going to serve oysters and charge per oyster please make sure they are of ample size. Of the oysters served only 1 was nice oyster size and they did not easily come out of the shell so then the amount enjoyed was even less. Feel this is quality control wanting to serve versus ensure higher standards. The service could have been better. Our waiter never served any of our small plates and in fact never really checked on us for more drinks we had to get the waiters attention to order during our meal. Also the waiter came and asked about a dessert menu and we had to point out we have not yet received the last small plate. There was a lot of downtime between courses and while not in a rush it seemed more like the waiter was not paying attention especially when never realizing we did not receive a plate. Other tables around us seemed to get more attentive service and we noticed waitstaff explaining dishes prior to being ordered and upon delivery which we only received once with the last dish.

Wonderful dining experience with quiet atmosphere. Tapas style dining of amazing dishes and drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The seafood salad was top notch and everyone enjoyed the scallops. No one was able to pick a favorite. The drink menu is an adventure meant to be explored more. First time visit for us and we plan to come back soon.

I have eat at fin and fino many time and the food was always great! Last night the chef had a very very heavy hand on salt. Everything we ordered was way too salty. We did speak to the manager and let her know. Of course she apologized and tried to make it right. Very disappointing meal

Very disappointing - went here for lunch with a feiend and ordered the pasta with shrimps. Pasta was average at best; shrimps were very salty and way overcooked. I will stay away from this place.

Ultimately it comes down to the food. The scallops were way to salty, the fries were nothing special, the dish of fish got me sick. A d the house pasta was just okay at best. I was celebrating a birthday 🎂 very disappointing

Delicious and fun dinner with friends at the Uptown location in June.
There was a small issue that arose with a new employee which the manager, Tiffany, helped with and all is great. Definitely recommending and visiting again.

Edited to add (apologies) I did not realize that the entire menu is small plates - which explains the smaller servings!

Went to Fin and Fino for the first time. Have to give a shout out to the staff - the one constant at all of Jon Dresslers locations are the people. They are a lot of fun, they love their food, they take pride in what they do and it shows!

The people around us got the treatment, and I have to say it all looked amazing! There were no complaints whatsoever from anyone at the table.

As one would imagine - there was a great deal of fresh raw seafood as well as cooked. No surprise, it was fresh and excellent!

I got the roasted beets and the heart of ribeye. Both were wonderful - oh my goodness the beef was so tender and flavorful cooked perfectly.

The beets, a personal taste? I wasn’t a fan of what might have been peppercorns on the beets? It just was too strong for me when I crunched down on two. I am a beet lover so just scraped them off - they were excellent.

The calamari was really good, as was of course the shrimp cocktail and crab dip. Always amazing!

The mussels in the pasta dish were minuscule and not alot of pasta - it was about the size of an appetizer to be honest. Now perhaps that is what it was meant to be but not enough to feed one person as a main dish. Still, very flavorful.

I have to admit that Dresslers and Chapter 6 are still my favorites - hands-down, but you obviously cannot beat the freshness of the raw seafood and - The Treatment - was such a fun experience! All the seafood dishes were great!

Some of the other appetizers looked wonderful - didn’t get a chance to try the mushroom sourdough toast, but it looked amazing, for me worth going back again.

Clean inside, very busy and they have party rooms for anybody that would need one.

Everyone was too full to have dessert, but as you know, or in case you didn’t, they are all handmade from Joans Bakery to all the Dresslers eateries!

Very good food, ambience and service. A little on the expensive side but tasty. We had the crab dip, oysters, shrimp and something else I am not remembering.

Everything about our visit was fantastic — the food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We especially appreciated the creativity and presentation of each dish.

The only small thing that left us a bit puzzled: my friend and I ordered different dishes, but for some reason, all of our food was brought out in the same shared plate at every course. It made it hard to enjoy our individual selections separately, even though our orders were placed independently.

Still, a wonderful experience overall and I would absolutely come back!

I go to Fin and Fino 1-2 times every week for lunch. Food is good and the waitress is the best always friendly and let us know what the special of the day is Ees is great.
This one day I went in to have lunch with a friend we sat at the bar and as we waited for our lunch to come out we happen to see the owner take fries off a plate that was waiting to go out to a patron. He has his sunglasses and phone on the counter wear the food goes for pick up. His action made me reconsider going someplace else for lunch. This is not sanitary so very disappointed. I continued to watch to make sure he didn't pick off my plate. I have pictures of the owner as well but I won't expose.

When we ordered our oysters, we were aware of the no phone policy to get the special. We ordered some additional sides to meet the minimum order and when we kept waiting for the calamari to arrive. When we asked why it was taking so long she said they have been out all night and made it seem like it was our fault. We politely asked for our phones back and were told we couldn't have them back until the end of the night even though we had finished the oysters well into the meal - we were taken aback by the strict enforcement from our waitress.
