I kept reading this is the best place in the charlotte area, so I drove 20 minutes out of my way when I was in South Charlotte to try it. I have to say I was disappointed. The cheese and sauce were pretty good but the paper thin crust left a lot to be desired. This pizza is bar pizza, not New York style- there is a huge difference!

The experience we had at Finale was completely top notch! The atmosphere was incredible, staff was extremely kind and accommodating (especially Prince who took great care of us) and above all, the food was fantastic! We tried two different pastas that were each amazing and their classic cheese pizza was perfectly cooked with a tangy sauce and perfect texture. This place is definitely worth a visit and we will be returning frequently. One of our new favorite spots in Charlotte!

The pizza is delicious and is the best in South Charlotte. It is a thin crust with a great sauce, who would have thought it would be hidden over in Ballantyne West. I hope they keep their consistency. My wife and I enjoyed it.

The pizza is delicious. The sauce is phenomenal. Will eat here again. My ONLY feedback is if they could fine tune their recipe/cook to get the pizza less floppy it would rival pizza in NYC.

Amazing experience! The customer service and hospitality were 10/10. We felt welcomed and comfortable. The pizza was great as well. We tried The Hornet and it was just the right balance of sweet and spicy. The desserts were even better. We definitely recommend giving them a try.

The place was really nice and looked modern and updated. Bathrooms were nice and clean and modern. Unfortunately, not sure if it was because we came in at about 1 hour before close but our pizza was room temperature at most. The dough and crust was good but again room temp pizza was not good. Pretty sure if it were warm at least it would’ve been better. The pizza cut was a little annoying as it was difficult to tear the slices from each other. (See photo). They tore at the middle of the slice too. $40 including tip for just the pizza (no drinks) was not quite worth that experience. If I ever try it again I hope I get warm pizza at least. Pizza flavor was ok. They have salt, pepper, red pepper flake, oregano, and garlic shakers if you need. Water is served at the table. $40 may be worth it for a family of 4 as there was enough pizza to go around (19”). But it was just two of us. So we’re kinda forced to pay the full price and take the rest home, otherwise it’s just a cheese slice or their other options for non pizza food items.
Update 10/15: I was contacted by management and they made it right. I gave them a second shot. I ordered takeout. Pizza was warm this time. :) Ordered a pepperoni pizza and cheese bread. Pizza was fully cut this time as well. Honestly it’s pretty standard pizza but with better ingredients. The Parma tasted better. Will probably get that one next time. Thank you again. My fiancé likes the cheese bread a lot.

The pizza was amazing — perfectly crispy crust with just the right balance of sauce and cheese. While I wouldn’t call it traditional NYC-style pizza, it’s easily some of the best wood-fired pizza I’ve ever had. You can tell they use quality ingredients because I didn’t feel heavy or sluggish afterward.
