Place has really gone down hill. Used to be a good spot. Service stinks now. Food was cold. If I order food to be picked up at 11:30, don’t make it at 11:00. No more Welcome to Firehouse!!

DO NOT EAT HERE. 1 hour to wait for your food not busy at all. 2 girls who were careless and chatting...lazy. Sandwhich was cold and place was a mess...disgusting. Never again coming to this location. 3/11/23

Came in because I haven’t had Firehouse since I moved here a year ago. As soon as I placed my order, the cashier spent 5 minutes talking to her coworker that just walked in, vape in one hand and picking his nose behind the counter. Floors, tables and counters look like they haven’t been cleaned in days. Service overall was slow and not great at all. Founded by Firemen or Founded by Teenagers?

I work from home. I ordered online so I could grab a quick lunch and then try to get ahead for a meeting this afternoon and here I am still waiting - my order should’ve been ready 25 minutes ago and they keep making sandwiches for the people coming in while I am waiting rather than make my food. ?‍♀️ serious failure. I won’t make that mistake again.

Very slow service, I get there were only 2 people, but over 20 minutes for a sub? Personally not

Best subs ever. Clean and good portions.

Showed up at about 12:30 on a Sunday. Not very crowded. I ordered 3 sandwiches, nothin crazy. Got my drinks and sat down. Waited almost 40 minutes to get my food. This is because the employee stopped working to watch Disney movies on the tv every 3 seconds. The sandwiches were completely screwed up when I got them and already got cold. Terrible place to eat.

About two years ago, I started coming to this location on a regular basis. It wasn’t until one bad experience that changed my whole opinion about this location. One man, who no longer works there, was extremely rude to me when I asked him to remake my sandwich because he prepared the sandwich on a used cutting board. As someone who has severe, life-threatening food allergies, making a sandwich in such a way could cost me my life. He huffed and puffed because they were busy and I ended up throwing my sandwich away because I did not feel comfortable eating the sandwich he remade. I understand the risks of eating at restaurants; however, there are certain accommodations I ask to mitigate the risk of cross-contamination with one of my many allergens. Nothing hard, just a few added steps to ensure my safety - change gloves, new cutting board, new knife... that's it. I have walked out of restaurants before because of rude employees who refuse to take precautions or people not being able to accommodate my allergies. After that incident, I stopped coming to this location. It was not until about 6 months ago that I decided to try this location again, to which I am very happy I did. They have been the absolute best location, of any restaurant, I have ever been at. All of the employees are friendly and take precautions to ensure my safety. From the start, when I walk in, I am always greeted. The manager, Hunter, is extremely helpful and cautious with my allergies, going out of her way to ensure my safety. When I walk in she goes straight to change her gloves, get a new cutting board from the back, and a fresh, clean knife from the kitchen. She carefully prepares my food and does not seem to mind when I watch her prepare it to ensure it has been prepared correctly (some people get nervous or make rude looks at me if I stand at the end to watch them prepare it). Need I remind, this is my life on the line. One mistake or wrong condiment, like putting mayo instead of mustard, could be at the cost of my life. At this point, since I have been coming here for about 6 months now, she knows my name and my regular order that I place, which is very impressive and makes a long-lasting impression, showing me that the employees actually care about their customers. Kaylee, or Kat as she preferred I think, is another awesome employee that is extra cautious with my order due to my allergies. Tonight, I watched Kat go as far as to open a fresh bag of lettuce (they were running low anyways I believe) and get a plastic spoon to scoop my chopped pickles to ensure there was minimal to no cross-contamination. The lengths these ladies take to ensure my safety is absolutely amazing, I wish every restaurant I dined-in at would take extreme caution like these two young ladies have done. There is another gentleman there that is also extremely cautious with my allergies, although I have forgotten his name. He is a young, blonde-headed boy, but he is amazing with my allergies as well. I have never felt more safe eating at a restaurant than I do at this Firehouse Subs location, which is saying a lot. I just wanted to express my gratitude and thanks to these workers who take the extra time out of their days to ensure my food is safe for me to eat.Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to eggs, peanuts, treenuts, fish, shellfish, and lamb. The workers do an amazing job ensuring that my food does not come into contact with any of my allergens by getting a new cutting board from the back, a clean knife, and changing their gloves before preparing my order.

walked in and waited 8 min at the register while not being addressed once. Employee repeatedly walked by us, intentionally ignored us so we walked out. left a couple behind us waiting as well. Terrible service. Dont go here. Go to waverly location on providence. Amazing service there!

Had to walk out after waiting almost 10 minutes at the register waiting to place an order while the staff decided to ignore my wife and I to put together what I only can believe were online orders. Overall a good waste of time.

Staff extremely rude, unpleasant and mean… went in for lunch and every employee is in there with ear pods in which is a safety hazard and shows poor customer service skills.

Customer service is horrible. I walked up to the register and lady at the register looked up at me and said "what", I then ordered my sub and then she just walked away and didn't ask if I wanted anything else and then I had to call her back so I could finish my order.

Just went in to order lunch at 3:20 on a Sunday. Ordered two large subs, two sides of mac n cheese, and two medium drinks. We tipped 4 dollars, and rounded up with a donation. Came home and realized we paid 8$ for TWO mac n cheeses that they never gave us. Heard the employees all talking about leaving so i guess they were in too much of a rush to pay attention to their orders correctly. I was the only customer in there besides my girlfriend. Also asked for cucumber on my sub and they didnt add that either. Poor service, my girlfriend was very upset when we got home and saw what was missing, as was I. Spent 40$ for two subs and a drink. Wow….
