First of all, we've been eating at this restaurant for the past 7 years. Up until now, the service and the food has been excellent. After we sat down, Ed/Eduardo, began to give us attitude because we ordered tap water and not bottled water. He proceeded to tell us we couldn't keep our bags on the chairs, while basically there weren't any other customers around. Next, he just made a disgusted face and turned his back to us. When I asked for his name, he wouldn't tell me and he turned his name tag around so we couldn't see it. Unknowingly, one of his coworkers told us his name. So to say the least, we left without eating, which is too bad because the food is usually very good. However, because of Ed/Eduardo, the customer service was horrible AND unacceptable.

Just say NO. ABSOLUTELY NO to the sushi self serve. Yet that’s right, self serve sushi. Looked decent. BEWARE this is an auto pay kiosk. Tried getting a receipt at the end and no buttons to push. Had to go to the server behind the bar several times to get info and to get a printed receipt. LO AND BEHOLD, Carlos who saw me trying to figure it out and get a receipt, while the plastic bag container fell down, popped out from one of the tables and he had difficulty in getting logged unit he machine. The STRUGGLE IS REAL here, next time I’ll move on. Goodbye bad experience.

Great sushi. I’m not an expert, but tasted not from right out of the fridge. Not what you pick up at the airport usually.

Got a sushi tray from this place and sat down in one of many empty chairs at the bar. Someone comes in the middle of my meal which would have lasted less than 4 minutes and asked me to move out, this is a dine in chair and you need to move. Thank for you serving us the first and last time.

So I'm a Sushi Chef and VERY critical of pre made Sushi. So I picked up a rainbow roll on our way to Detroit. The. best Premade Sushi I ever had. I thought it a fluke so on my return I purchased another. Equally as impressive. The checkout is a breeze. A tray pricey but when you think of where you are and the quality it's a no brainer.

Limited menu but good for what they offer. It's one of the more quiet restaurants in CLT so that alone is worth it.

Even though they have small tables for 1 or two people maximum, they force you to be assigned the bar. Personally I hate eating at a bar because of my back, I asked if I could be assigned a table to which the older woman who is receiving staff told me no, it's not her fault, she must follow the restaurant's instructions. In the end I preferred not to eat there, service like this deserves to lose a customer and a good review. I will not return.

Hidden gem in plain sight. Probably the best food in the airport but people haven’t figured it out yet so short wait. Great service too.

I was blown away by the sushi at First in Flight Bar! Despite being located at an airport, it surpasses even some of the fanciest sushi restaurants I've been to. The fish was incredibly fresh, and my roll was well prepared and presented. Best of all the taste was on point! If you're passing through the Charlotte Airport, this spot is definitely worth a stop!
