My food was not the best. My egg white omelette was overcooked but the manager did replace it, but once biting into it, the inside filling was cold. My experience with the waitress wasn’t warm and friendly, but it was a feel of tolerance. I notice her being more warm and friendly with the European couple sitting behind us. Overall, I would not recommend nor visit this location again.

They burned the chicken sausage, black as midnight!! and they tried to hide it by flipping it over. Potato hash was salty awful it seemed like kibbles and bits dog food. Not worth what we paid. Extremely disappointed!!! Don’t waste your time or money.

Not up to the standard I've come to expect from this chain. From the time we walked up to a patio that had trash in it, to sitting in a booth where the seat had not been wiped off, to getting a coffee mug with lipstick on it, to using a bathroom that wasn't clean, our experience was below average. Our server was ok. The hostess and other servers looked miserable. We won't be back.

I visited First Watch for the first time during a recent business trip, following a high recommendation from my boss. The experience exceeded my expectations. The service was incredibly efficient; we were seated immediately upon arrival, and our meals were served less than five minutes after ordering. The food arrived hot and fresh. Although I typically do not favor pancakes, these were arguably the best I have ever had—perfectly soft and remarkably fluffy. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking an excellent breakfast or brunch. The staff and cuisine were both outstanding.

The atmosphere is bright, relaxed, and welcoming, the kind of place where you can settle in comfortably whether you’re grabbing a quick meal or taking your time with coffee.
The menu has something for everyone, and everything always tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I’ve tried several dishes here, and the quality never slips. The eggs are always cooked perfectly, the pancakes are fluffy, and the fruit is surprisingly fresh for a breakfast chain. Their seasonal specials are often the best part, and I love that they rotate new items regularly.
The service is another reason I keep coming back. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely upbeat, even on busy mornings. They check in often enough without hovering, and my orders have always come out exactly as requested. Even when the restaurant fills up, things run smoothly, and the wait times are reasonable.
What I appreciate most is the overall consistency, every visit feels just as good as the last. It’s reliable, comfortable, and always leaves me satisfied. If you’re in Charlotte and love a good breakfast, this First Watch is absolutely worth visiting.

I ordered the herbal tea and was pleasantly surprised to receive tea bags with hot water — it was complementary, which was a nice touch. This place is definitely worth the money. Off the bat, the set up / layout of this restaurant could be better. There seems to be only room for one guest at the reception which, without direction, has chaos written all over it. This also makes things more difficult on the receptionist.
