Absolutely superb!!! I am so stoked I found this gem as it reminds me of Wings n Things when I lived in San Diego! I got the 10 pc traditional, half hot and half FlipnGold (sooo good!), celery/carrots, fries, and breadsticks. Wings were cooked to perfection and perfect size, sauces on point and flavorful, breadsticks melt in your mouth and are soooo good ?, just as I remembered,..had enough ranch for my wings and celery/carrots, and even the fries were good. Chris the owner was so nice and personable, it was such a joy chatting with him.The experience and service is just as important as the food in my opinion. From my experience and view, hands down fav place for wings in Charlotte (they were voted best wings in Charlotte, well deserved!). I have no desire or need to get wings anywhere else, this is my spot from here on out! Highly recommend!P.S. (Sorry didn’t get a good picture before eating, I was too excited! And after the first bite, it was Over! lol)

My youngest celebrated his birthday here and it was our first time visiting. We ordered family pak that came with choice of wings or tenders but not both. That was a bummer cause I would have loved to try both half wings and half tenders. Unfortunately, we ordered the tenders, which came out promptly and cooked golden and crispy on the outside, and they were moist and looked delicious but lacked any seasonings from our tasting! The sauce comes by default on the tenders, but I had requested it on the side since we had multiple sauces. Fries ordered separately came hot and seasoned! I split another order of wings with my oldest son, and the same result... no seasoning. The sauces were good, though ?. On the side came celery, and carrot sticks and drinks had to be ordered separately as well. Overall, I didn't find that it matched up to some of the "best wings" titled ratings and reviews. They better hope Raising Canes don't come here to Charlotte!!

I absolutely love the family and staff and I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school so over 10+ years. Nothing but consistent and nothing but the best. And for anyone wondering yes they can do extra crispy!

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at this wing spot! From the moment I walked in, the service was incredibly fast and friendly, making me feel right at home. The wings themselves? Simply divine! Perfectly cooked with a succulent, flavorful kick that leaves you craving for more. I did encounter a slight hiccup with my order, but the way the staff handled it was nothing short of exemplary. They fixed the issue immediately, without any hesitation, which truly speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. This place not only delivers on the promise of delicious food but also excels in making sure every customer leaves happy. Definitely deserving of a full five stars and highly recommended to all wing lovers out there!

There’s a reason they are Best Wings in Charlotte 2023… being a wing aficionado…. one is always looking for that perfect wing…. well… found it!Trying to pick a favorite was impossible. We tried the buffalo medium, lemon pepper, flippin gold, and tangy bbq.All amazing!And it’s not just about the sauce… if you are picky about how the wing is cooked… they have it down to a science.PERFECTLY crispy ❤️Can’t wait to try the other flavors!

This place is the BOMB! My husband loves Buffalo chicken and their chicken strips are amazing! They are moist, the chicken is very high quality and it’s drenched in sauce. There is NO comparison to a chain like BWW where the chicken is meh and there’s too much breading. Their Buffalo pizza strips are also so good! Their customer service is also great. One time our food took a little longer than normal and the manager apologized and gave us a free dessert.
The wings are very good! As a self proclaimed wing snob, I was prepared to be disappointed. I wasn't disappointed! The size and crisp of the wings are excellent. I'm looking forward to getting more wings from Flip-a-Los and trying different sauces.
Get the fries, if you have a small stomach it’ll make 2 meals. Fries topped with chicken, cheese, and a sauce from a huge list or a mix of sauces. Parmesan garlic almost had me order it again after I finished the first bowl. Carry out containers are super high quality and they’re perfect to reuse at home for meal planning or your own leftovers.

Heard staff talking about a rodent issue while I was waiting on my food. Got the food and I must say $1.50 per these minuscule wings felt like a rip off. The flip’s gold sauce was good though
