Great food, great service. It's always fun to watch the kitchen action while seated at the bar.

Went for the 1st time with our birthday group of 4. Our server was Maddie was outstanding (I do not use that word often!). Her attention to the details that made our meal so pleasant, fun & a great experience was perfect. We all were pleased & are looking forward to our 2nd meal at The Flour Shop!

Staring at the dumpsters from the patio was less than desirable and seems like it could be an easy fix with additional blinds. We came for the handmade pasta. The actually pasta was good however the sauces were lackluster. Luckily we also order the ribeye deckle which saved the dinner. Wouldn't rush back.

Food was good, but not exceptional. The prices were high for what you receive... $180 for 3 ppl. Atmosphere was super cute and loved the open kitchen concept. Sat at bar and service was average. Had to ask for small plates with our appetizer and basically had to hunt our server down to get them. Not many check ins on needs or quality of food. Just expect most for all the hype. I might go back with girlfriends, but my expectations will be much lower.

My seat faced the dumpsters in the parking lot, which wasn't ideal. It would be great to have hanging blinds outside for better privacy. Also, consider lowering the prices a bit. On the positive side, the food was fantastic, and the service from Dawson was outstanding. As for the noise, I'm not sure there's much that can be done about it. Overall, a solid experience!

Flour Shop is a decent spot for lunch or a very casual dinner. I wouldn't recommend it for special occasions or if you're expecting higher service than a neighborhood spot. Unfortunately the restaurant was out of several items (limoncello, cranberry juice, tiramisu, etc.) pretty early in the evening, which makes me question the kitchen management. Ambiance was ok, it's in the backlot of a higher-end strip mall so expect to dodge cars as you walk in. The restaurant was definitely warm and had fans going to try and move air. Food was good and the menu had great selection. Drinks were slightly overpriced, $18 for a spritz is a bit of a stretch for the location and service-level.

Hot AF ... tough situation with the temperature outside. Beef carpaccio- outstanding! Scallops slightly undercooked and risotto needed seasoning. Service - awesome.

I always have a good experience at The Flour Shop. The bacon wrapped dates were a perfect appetizer and the pasta was incredible. I'm never disappointed there.

Great fresh pasta and someone in our group said 'best cooked calamari I've ever had.' Thank you for a fun triple date with amazingly fresh food!

Our table was next to the bus station and kitchen which wouldn't have been an issue if (1) we were a walk in versus a reservation and (2) the kitchen door had not been propped open. It was very loud in the area of the table.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely phenomenal experience at Flourshop!

From the moment we walked in, everything was top-tier — the ambiance was to die for, effortlessly stylish and inviting. The food was out of this world — each dish beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with so much care and creativity.

What truly set the evening apart was the service. Our server was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive. He genuinely loved his job! And to top it all off, the chef personally came to our table several times — not just to check in, but to walk us through the dishes, explain the inspiration behind them, and make us feel truly immersed in the experience. It’s rare to feel that kind of connection and intentionality in a dining experience.

This place is a gem in Charlotte. If you’re looking for a memorable night out — whether it’s a date, celebration, or just a well-deserved treat — I highly recommend giving Flourshop a try. Can’t wait to come back!
