Today, precisely around 10 am after having a rough morning I decided to go try out this place to see if it was worth the hype. And I am excited to say it is not. I walk in and was rudely greeted by a rather big woman, with a very light complexion, and who had a claw-clip that was practically grasping onto air bc of how thin her hair was. A solid 10 minutes pass of me sitting with not even a water when I noticed the same woman was attending people who came in after me and who were not people of color. Thankfully, a younger woman came over and took my order and continued to check in, all whilst the other rude woman continued to walk past me completely ignoring me. Overall though the food was decent, atmosphere was cute, but a certain staff member left me with a sense of distaste towards this particular location. I have never left a review before so for this to be my first is quite unfortunate. Lastly, i’m not seeking an apology this review is simply to share my experience here. ☺️

Great location. Plenty of places around to go. There was a 20min wait when we went around 12:30pm on a Sunday. The stuffed French toast was very good! The grits were just ok. They have queso in them and are a little too thin. I like thicker grits. Bacon was cooked very well. Biscuits were really good. My boyfriend said the gravy was good as well. It was crowded inside and a smaller place

Went around noon and was sat quickly and my waiter and all employees I talked to were very friendly. Got the chicken and waffles with gravy and it was absolutely delicious. 10/10 which is rare nowadays, I would recommend!

We’ve been dining with Flying Biscuit cafe for years. By far this was both the best customer service experience and tasting food we’ve ever had! Our server was great, management (Jasmine) was amazing, and all the employees looked like they genuinely enjoyed their work environment. 10/10 highly recommend

Major disappointment. I got an omelet and it was over cooked and dry. I asked for a small amount of gravy to help, which they gave me but charged me $5. I used two tablespoons. Their gravy is made from chicken, not pork, and it is disgusting. The biscuit was dry, and certainly not baked that day. Will never go back, way too many other options. I’m amazed how they stay in business.
Madeleine with Offline - Always phenomenal! We got the honey chicken benedict and the GA peaches and cream waffle breakfast and a side of biscuits and gravy 🤌🏽 we bring our dog and the staff is always so sweet with her. Great sunday brunch spot in Charlotte!

I can’t believe how the service was today. Our service from 2103 Binta showed us no attention at all. She gave us our drinks and that’s it. The biscuit changed , the food just wasn’t the same and I loveeeeee flying biscuit. I just won’t come back to this one.
