I've never had a bad meal at the Flying Biscuit. We normally go to the Park Rd location but came to this location for the first time. Where there would normally be a long wait on the weekends, we got in right away because we were willing to sit at the bar. The food was prepared quickly but was still fresh and hot. I love that they offer so many non-pork options. In fact, besides bacon, they don't serve potk but they offer turkey bacon, chicken sausage and this time I tried chicken chorizo. Their grits are always creamy, the biscuits are always fluffy. I often have their biscuits and gravy because it's made with chicken sausage and its amazing and you can't find that anywhere else but the grits bowl with chicken chorizo was amazing and I'll have that again as well. You just can't go wrong.I only gave 4 stars for service because our server was nice but it was hard to get her attention and ultimately it took awhile for us to get our bill.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for non pork esters

It was everything I expected and needed. Friendly, quaint atmosphere. Family oriented. The shaded patio was available if we wanted to sit out in the beautiful weather. Our waitress was right there when we needed her, but not overbearing so we could enjoy our DELICIOUS breakfast! The stuffed French toast was beyond delicious. My grits were creamy perfection, and the biscuits were hot and fluffy-ready for butter and strawberry preserves! We will have to make this spot our Saturday morning rendezvous!Dietary restrictions: There is something for everyone on the menu. I have special dietary needs, and there were plenty of meals and a la carte options.Parking: It's in a shopping center.

Absolutely loved this place…the atmosphere, food, staff and service!! I could not have had a more pleasant server (believe his name was Travie)! He was spot on with recommending I go with tacos I was considering…they were yummy!! The biscuit was nice and fresh also. Also, considering that I came in close to closing, they didn’t rush me, and was still attentive as they started closing things down. I know this doesn’t have to do anything with the food, but it was really nice to see how the staff were so friendly and caring with each other…and gave me a few chuckles on my way out :-). Will DEFINITELY return!

First timer here. I’ll definitely return! This was the best food I’ve had since visiting Charlotte and Greensboro NC. They has a lot of food choice for breakfast. I tried the bowl. It comes with grits and your choice of four proteins/veggies. I got the salmon and turkey bacon and It was amazing. The grits were cooked to perfection and the protein was chopped up with an egg on top. The home made biscuits were so good with apple butter. Service was attentive and fast!
