This was the perfect precursor to our theater night out in Uptown Charlotte. Miranda was a superb server, anticipating our needs, had a great sense of humor and was overall exactly what you hope when you eat out. She was friendly, helpful and overall made the night perfect. The food was wonderful as well. My son, ever the picky eater, chose the lasagna - worried a little for the "new" things included (bison, bechamel sauce) - but raved in the end. My chicken pasta dish...
We dine here before going to Bleumenthal, and it works well for us, a group of women. Because we can't take leftovers we get small plates or share, and they are very accommodating, and the food is excellect. Our server was also excellent. My garden salad had very fresh assorted lettuces and I'll get it again.
The food was very average. I had BBQ short ribs. The ribs were fatty and they tasted like a store bought BBQ had been poured on them at the last minute. Not great. My husband's pasta w seafood was similarly drowned in red sauce.
