We drove over two hours to try this place and they weren’t open during their listed business hours. Don’t even bother calling the listed number, it doesn’t work. Very misleading and there’s no way to communicate with them.

**Late Post** Visited here with a friend because we had been hearing commercials on the radio. Food was juat okay, but the atmosphere is very nice. Real chill, casual seating and the DJ was on point. Service was good. Would visit here again more for the drinks and vibe than the food.

Whoever made the cabbage and the Rice and Peas...DISRESPECTFUL!!!! how you blanch the cabbage and throw some OBay on them, where's the carrots!!!!! The plantains was sliced too thick and burnt. The Jerk Chicken was BURNT TO THE BONE!!!! The Oxtails was beautiful though.

I made reservations and all for my birthday and they were closed without informing us that they’ll be closed. I’m never coming back again.

Nice setup but the food selection is limit and overpriced for what they offer. I went this past Sunday during brunch and ordered “chicken and waffles.” I was given two small eggo waffles and three heavy breaded wings smh. When I asked about the waffles I was told that the regular brunch chef wasn’t there. Inexcusable! If that were the case I should have been notified from the start! Never again.

My daughter invited a few of us to Brunch hear and it was AMAZING. THE WAITRESS AND BARMAID WAS ON POINT. THANKS WE WILL BE BACK. ALSO THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS.

Food is nothing like the pictures and taste horrible the rice and beans had a weird were the snapper was over cooked and bland the oxtails were smothered in too much sauce and came with no peppers or onions as pictured. A waste of money. Don’t eat here!

I ordered a lemonade from this establishment because I liked their food but after today I will not be back. They sent my lemonade in a dollar store 4oz cup with no lid. You don’t send a cup with no lid or this small for 2.00. Mybdrink could be spiked or anything and there’s no way for me to know. I called the lounge and the girl answered and didn’t care at all. She told me they don’t have lids! What in the 2023? Yall a whole lounge but can’t afford lids?!?! Then I keep eating and there’s a whole piece of plastic in my food. Never again!

DEEEEE-LICIOUS ? ...AND AUTHENTIC!!! ??‍♀️(Sorry, not sorry for the length because they, collectively, more than EARNED this here REVIEW!)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?I stopped at Forty8Hundred Restaurant & Lounge for lunch Saturday while I was en route to the Midwest (from visiting the Carolinas)... I ended up getting the warmest greeting and immediate, QUALITY service from the calm, cool and collected Ms. Lyric (bartender), as soon as I walked through the door.I ordered food and an adult beverage to start; From the Pourage to the Rasta Pasta, everything is deiciously authentic! (Compliments to #HeadChefKev ??) Ms. Lyric and Mr. Tone (bartender - special shoutout #MiamiUniversityOfOhio!?) made Tequila Sunrises that actually looked AND tasted like the Sunrise...whew! Yes! Thank you both. LolOn top of that Ms. Athena (operations/mgmt - #NetworkingButterfly ), and all the chefs, kitchen staff, and even newer employees-in-training were absolutely delightful to encounter. This is a place that welcomes one's authentic self, shows madd love, and is most certainly innovatively refreshing!The entire place, and even surrounding businesses, has a positive and engaging atmosphere. This team is truly set apart in a positive Light ?#ShineOnYall!I THOUGHT I had stumbled upon Forty8Hundred just because I'm a serious foodie and traveler, but I can certainly say some type of spriitual alignment led me to meet this team of great souls under one jumping Rasta roof!
