Fox & Hound - Northlake

Zero stars would be great??. Service was terrible ?, slow, the waitress was being greedy with the tables and overwhelmed herself it seemed. As expensive and as long as it took to get my food, yeah, sent it right back. 0-10= 0??

Came with a group of friends. Ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Mac and Cheese it was terrible. Mac and cheese does not even taste like it. It was more like cheese soup with macaroni in it. The chicken itself was not terrible. Friends order a burger it was great but ranch side took over 30mins just for a side of ranch. My friends were done eating by the time ranch is made. Customer service was not the best. Silverware forgotten , waiter would leave and come back every 45mins. Fries taste like frozen bag fries microwaved. Waiter would forget things and not come back until almost hours. We nearly spent 3 hours.

Great place to go to view sports have drinks and be social. Very clean alot of TV's to view different channels on and a very positive staff. The food was really good and priced at what you would expect, nothing was outrageous on cost. The ultimate platter was a well balanced portion of what I wanted for two people who just was there for something to eat before dinner. This was a great choice that kept both of us full until we wanted to eat again. Great spot to check out that is close to a lot of shopping stores. Check it out if you never went before.

Fox & Hound is my go to spot whenever there's a big fight (UFC or Boxing) or sporting event. There may be a cover charge with certain fights, depending on who's on the card. They have plenty of TVs and a wide variety of interesting drinks from the bar. They recently expanded their menu and have more food options. The food may not be the best, but it's not bad either. It's good enough to order some wings, pizza, or apps while you watch the game or fight. The atmosphere is chill, nice vibe whether you're at a table or at the bar. Check them out if you're in the area and looking for a place to take in the action.

Horrible. Debated writing this review but decided it was too much not to. Took 30 minutes before I was informed they were out of what I ordered. The GM was beyond rude and had zero care took her 15 minutes to even come talk to us. Basically said “oh well” Was honestly acting as if it was our fault and how dare we be upset with this problem. Poor customer service to be the “General Manager” which I honestly don’t even believe her because she was dressed very unprofessional. I understand issues with food shortages and things being out but her approach was attacking and something I have never experienced before. We paid for our drinks and left without lunch. Watching this place decline rapidly in the last 4 months and I won’t be back until it’s fixed. The bartender did the best she could with what she was given but it starts with management and this place is severely lacking.

I’ve never written a review for a restaurant before but this place deserves one. After an hour of waiting, we finally received our appetizer which was missing part of our order. Our server came to check on us once after waiting 30 minutes for a water refill. We debated asking for the check before anything came out because the service was so terrible. Our entrees came and were barely edible. I’m not even joking. We’re leftover- type people and didn’t even bother asking for a box because the food was terrible and we wanted to get out of there after waiting forever and we weren’t sure the next time the server would be back. We will never be back. I’ll give this place a bit of grace, maybe they were short of help or maybe they had a big party that we couldn’t see ( the place was empty as far as we could see) but I would not suggest this place to anyone I know.

It was a slow night ... on a Saturday? My chicken came partially crunchy and tough from over cooking. Broccoli was hard and simply warm. The flavor mixed with the rice was very good though. My daughter's food was dripping with grease that made her feel ill. Never saw tater tots dripping before.Service was friendly, the place was clean and inviting. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I just wish the cooks cared about their product more.

I would love to make an excuse that staff was too busy, but the place was far from full. Most of the party was served while one person had to wait 20 minutes for sup and the server said that it looked disgusting to her. Avoid this place if you expect any kind of good food or service

One server for the whole restaurant and she was doubling as bartender. A lunch that would have typically taken 1.5 hours took over 3 because of the service. The staff was trying their best but they were set-up for failure.

Service was extremely slow and ridiculous. The server we had went and tended to other tables and not ours. It took almost an hour to just get water. It then took almost another hour to just get the check. And then another half hour to get 1 take out box. I understand being short staffed, but some of the servers were just kind of standing around and playing around. The food was great but the service was completely awful.

Came here to get dinner after a long day. Service was slow from the start. Bartender "lost" my drink and I ended up waiting 20 minutes total for my drink. It was an automatic upsell because they were out of the well drinks. Ended up getting food after 45 minutes or so from being seated. I was very disappointed in the quality of the jack Daniel's blackened chicken. You can see in the pic for yourself. This does not represent a 15.50$ meal in my opinion. I ate the chicken because we were already tired and had been waiting so long already.1. Slow service all around. 2. Subpar food, I'm pretty sure it was microwaved reheated. 3. Plastic cutlery. 4. No condiments at all on the table.The restaurant appeared to be half full, had 2 bartenders and 4 waitresses but still super slow service. We really used to enjoy going to fox and the hound but sadly I will not be returning after this. I expect better than average service and food at a restaurant like this.

First time coming here and it was a great experience. Our waitress was very nice and gave us her honest opinion. Food was amazing and the service was great. We will make this one of our go to spots once we relocate here next month.

My wife and I have been going to this particular Fox & Hound for many years. This past weekend we were so sad to see how far down hill it has gone! We sat for 15 or so minutes and nobody even acknowledged we were there. The young lady looked at us and just never showed up. She was working the whole restaurant so we know why it was as bad as it was!!! When she finally went over to the couple who came in after us we had enough. With a very short staff we could have only imagined how bad the food would have been since there was only one cook and one waitress and this was a Saturday! We left and went to the Fox and hound at Birkdale and it was awesome! No more Northlake sadly for us.

First time going and I will definitely go again. I ordered the spiked strawberry lemonade and it was very tasty. Ordered the appetizer with the pretzel bites, boneless chicken wings, loaded potatoes, tator tots, and celery. Everything was so good. The food was so good. Reasonably priced and it was a great time. The waitress was very nice. Bathrooms were clean. I'll definitely be back.

Went there yesterday night and knew when I saw the host on her cell phone along with the lackluster greeting...that it was going to be that kind of night. Our waitress started out okay, but then it became apparent that she was the only one serving roughly 10-12 customers. It took over 20 minutes to get an order into the kitchen. Food was just okay! This place gives off dive bar vibes with a nice visual look. Food and service does not match surroundings.
