I went late-ish and it could be that they had more patrons than normal but the wait time was a bit long. There was also no check back and when I finished I had to flag the bartender down to close out.

The food looked good and I was there before the kitchen closed but unfortunately was greeted a few minutes before 9 (I could have ordered but it was rushed at that point).

I will try again at hopefully a better time

My wife and sister recently visited this restaurant for what was supposed to be a relaxing evening out. They were seated and enjoying a glass of wine along with an appetizer when their experience took an unfortunate turn.

Their first server was wonderful—attentive, kind, and professional. However, after this initial server left, a different staff member took over and the tone of the evening changed drastically. Despite the fact that they were prepared to order dinner, this new server approached the table and said, in no uncertain terms, that they had been there too long and needed to leave. She asked, “Did no one tell you about our policy on how long you can sit at a table?”—as if they were loitering rather than continuing to order and engage as patrons.

To be clear, they were not lingering without purchasing. They were mid-meal, ready to order entrees, and doing what anyone at a restaurant does—enjoying the atmosphere and service. To be told that their time was up, without any advance notice or grace, was not only embarrassing but deeply disrespectful.

If a restaurant has a time limit policy for tables, that should be communicated up front and handled with tact. Rushing guests out, especially those still ordering, reflects poorly on the establishment’s hospitality standards.

What started as a lovely evening turned into a disappointing one, and sadly, this experience has overshadowed what could have been a glowing review. I hope management will consider how such situations are handled in the future—because customers who feel valued are far more likely to return.

Excellent service is a rare thing to find these days, but the Southpark manager, Sharon, and our server, Allie (sorry if misspelled) hit it out of the park Monday night. I had a crazy request, and she and Allie not only fulfilled it, they exceeded my expectations and we had a PERFECT date night evening. The food and the wine were amazing, and I will definitely go back again even if just for the truffled cheddar! It's exactly the kind of place you go when you want to chill, visit, and enjoy a nice glass of wine.

We had a great experience at Foxcroft wine last night! When we got there, they were pretty busy and we had to wait for a table. The manager, Sharon, took excellent care of us bringing wine promptly to a table in the back bar. Thanks for the nice service and hospitality!

Very disappointing experience. We’ve been loyal customers for years. We ordered the fish special. The portion was pathetic for $32. We’ve ordered the “fish special” for years and the portion was sufficient. This was portioned for a small child. Very disappointing for a restaurant we have been so loyal to over the years

A fun hangout spot where you can do wine and appetizers or dinner. The atmosphere is lively, and the space is limited, so make sure you make reservations. We had great service and the food was good, but a few items (especially the house ricotta) were expensive for what you got.They have options for wine by the glass or you can build your own "flight" of 2 ounce pours, which is a great concept. I was a bit surprised at how limited the wine list was for this being a wine-only spot - there were 15 reds, 11 whites, and 7 others including rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines (but nothing fortified since in NC that requires a liquor license). They have a bunch more wines lining all the walls that are available for purchase that are not reflected on the menu, so perhaps the idea is if you want something more than a flight or a glass, there are hundreds of bottles you can choose from. Our server didn't mention it but I assume that's how it works.Overall I would be happy to come back for wine and maybe light hors d'oeuvres and appetizers, but I don't think I'd plan on any entrees next time.

Great food with a great selection of wines and craft beers. Go for that afternoon break you need with a red, white or other libation.
