Excellent service is a rare thing to find these days, but the Southpark manager, Sharon, and our server, Allie (sorry if misspelled) hit it out of the park Monday night. I had a crazy request, and she and Allie not only fulfilled it, they exceeded my expectations and we had a PERFECT date night evening. The food and the wine were amazing, and I will definitely go back again even if just for the truffled cheddar! It's exactly the kind of place you go when you want to chill, visit, and enjoy a nice glass of wine.

We had a great experience at Foxcroft wine last night! When we got there, they were pretty busy and we had to wait for a table. The manager, Sharon, took excellent care of us bringing wine promptly to a table in the back bar. Thanks for the nice service and hospitality!

Very disappointing experience. We’ve been loyal customers for years. We ordered the fish special. The portion was pathetic for $32. We’ve ordered the “fish special” for years and the portion was sufficient. This was portioned for a small child. Very disappointing for a restaurant we have been so loyal to over the years

A fun hangout spot where you can do wine and appetizers or dinner. The atmosphere is lively, and the space is limited, so make sure you make reservations. We had great service and the food was good, but a few items (especially the house ricotta) were expensive for what you got.They have options for wine by the glass or you can build your own "flight" of 2 ounce pours, which is a great concept. I was a bit surprised at how limited the wine list was for this being a wine-only spot - there were 15 reds, 11 whites, and 7 others including rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines (but nothing fortified since in NC that requires a liquor license). They have a bunch more wines lining all the walls that are available for purchase that are not reflected on the menu, so perhaps the idea is if you want something more than a flight or a glass, there are hundreds of bottles you can choose from. Our server didn't mention it but I assume that's how it works.Overall I would be happy to come back for wine and maybe light hors d'oeuvres and appetizers, but I don't think I'd plan on any entrees next time.

I am very disappointed in this place. We purchased 2 $30.00 bottles of wine for a special dinner party. We were not happy with the wine. We were told it was sancere, even on the menu it says sancere, but, it is from a neighboring vineyard. Not real sancere. When we tried to exchange for a different bottle we were told no. I have been to excellent wine tasting events here but they have lost me as a customer. Buyer beware...I will add it to the previous review... This is not a good wine bar. They sell sancere wine that was from a neighboring vineyard , not sancere. Yet on the menus calling it sancere !We did not like; after forcing to drink one bottle. Called to ask to exchange and told they would not for a $30.00 bottle of wine!!! There is no state law to prevent them from exchange or returning. Just their policy. Total wine, Harris teeter, whole foods ECT. Will exchange. I will not be going here again!!!

When it comes to wine, it's about class and atmosphere. Prices here are higher than average, and service is good. I absolutely do not like auto pour. Wine needs to be served from the bottle. If you use this automatic pour, then you might as well pour it from the box.
