“This pub food restaurant is located off the lobby of the Fairfield Inn. We initially planned to dine out but decided to try the Tavern instead.
They mainly serve bar food, and it's well-prepared. I wish they had more vegan options.
Our server, Tracey, was exceptional - kind, smart, and outgoing. She's truly a standout staff member here.“

“What a gem! We came here while in town for a conference and so many people had told us to come here that we had to give it a try! The ambience is just what you would want out of a speakeasy! It’s downstairs in a true cellar, has a comforting smoky smell, and is dark, like a well kept secret! We sat at the bar since we didn’t have a reservation and loved this experience. Spencer was our bartender and was so helpful! He made great recommendations! I enjoyed a mocktail Mojito that he suggested and it was delicious and refreshing! I ordered the burger and it was so flavorful and juicy! The fries were well seasoned and hot too! My friend got the short ribs and was so pleased with her choice! We both had clean plates when we were done! Highly recommend if you’re in or around Charlotte!“
