Geno D’S Pizza two times. It was the best thing I ate while I was here. The pizza here is amazing and has a great taste! Highly recommend trying it out!

Someone may ask you: what's the best pizza in Charlotte? Geno D's is 100% in that conversation. I got a classic cheese and a grandma pie because I couldn't decide one over the other. Grew up on New Haven-style pizza in CT, so I like a crunch in every bite and both pizzas delivered. No flop. Great undercarriage. Very satisfied.
Pizza was some of the best we've had in Charlotte. We're still talking about it and already planning our return.

I thought long and hard before posting this review but I spent my hard earned money so here it is. I went here Saturday to get this famous Neapolitan style pizza. I went there ordered it and went to other vendors in the market to see what they had. We go back to retrieve pizza and the cashier who heard us order clearly put in wrong style pizza. We clearly stated what type of pizza we wanted but she made an error. So we confront the young lady and she says oh yeah I heard you say that but I put the other on in. Ok you made a mistake so let’s fix it. Would you like to know the fix? Pay for another pizza !! Yes they made the error and wanted me to pay for it !!! Who in TF does that?? I’m very non confrontational and the lady owner or manager was telling my wife you’re gonna have to pay for what you want because our worker made a mistake. I approached the counter and said you know what no problem we took the wrongly made pizza and left. I’m posting this for them to see. I Am A Customer!!! You wantMe to pay for your employees error.? So rather the. Lose $4 of food cost and make me happy you send me away dissatisfied. Congratulations you won!!! I was dissatisfied. Traveled 1.5 hours for this experience in the 7th ave food market only to be told take the wrong order or pay for another. Last words of parting for you guys. DO BETTER!!Updated: within 24 hours the owners have reached out and returned all of my money in full including tip. I wished it could have happened at the time of the issue but better late than never. We are looking forward to try to come back and get the pizza that we really wanted a we appreciate you reaching out to make it right!!Parking: Parking will cost you 14.50 !!
Happened upon this spot before seeing Lauren Daigle Thursday night. We were incredibly surprised by how amazing the pizza was. Being from NY we are definitely food snobs when it comes to pizza. It was by far better than almost every pizza we've had here in NC. The owner, Sweet Gena, came by and chatted with us, she has such a passion for what she does. We had a couple of Cannollis for dessert. Delish!! Can't wait to go back for her famous Grandma Pie!!

My husband and I love going to Geno D's Pizza. The veggie pizza with vegan cheese is the best vegan pizza I've had. We also love the pizza knots with vegan cheese. In addition to the amazing food, Gina and the team are always so kind to us so we do not mind driving 30 minutes just to get pizza from here.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and soy free crust and cheese
