CRIMINAL RING AT GIN MILL (boost!)

I used to love Gin Mill, honestly. But what’s now happening here is not a fluke, it’s a pattern.

For months, reviews have warned of theft, with dozens of phones vanishing in a single evening on separate occasions. 40+ police reports, etc.

And what has Gin Mill done? Nothing except for one sign that says a single pickpocketer is on the loose. No security upgrades. No staff intervention. No apparent warnings. Whether it’s indifference or quiet cooperation, their inaction is a loud message: your safety is not their priority.

My friend had his phone stolen from his front pocket. Another woman we spoke with lost hers from a zipped purse. These aren’t careless slips—they’re calculated thefts.

Before you step inside Gin Mill, ask yourself: is it worth risking a $1,000 loss and a complete violation of your space just for a night out? This place isn’t just careless—it’s complicit. Thanks for nothing, Gin Mill!!

Trending all over for phone stealing..........Be aware.

My phone along with over a dozen others were stolen in a coordinated pickpocketing on Saturday 5-17. When it happened the staff and police couldn’t have possibly cared any less. I understand it happens but look at other reviews- there has been little or zero effort to address this by the bar. In my opinion I am out 1k due to Gin Mill’s negligence in aggressively addressing this issue. If you’re reading this I’m begging you not to go here unless you have zero belongings on you.

Absolutely disgusting excuse of an establishment. Went there on a Saturday night and had my phone stolen straight out of my bag. The staff? Rude beyond belief and totally useless—actually, scratch that, they were worse than useless. I asked for help, and they looked at me like I’d just suggested they sacrifice a goat in the middle of the floor. Yeah right—they’re clearly in on it. This place is a scam front pretending to be a business. If you value your belongings—or your sanity—stay the hell away. You’ve been warned.

dont go here unless you want to get pick pocketed. I went saturday night and over twelve phones were stolen yet management did not seem to care. I get it, it happens but its rough out here. Not everyone can replace a $1500 phone the next day. There were only two staff who were polite and helpful. would have had the best time had this not happened.

Don’t go here unless you like dealing with rude/unhelpful staff and having your phone stolen

Didn’t get food but atmosphere was great. Loved the band last night, they played a lot of great stuff like Death Cab and other punk rock. It was more my vibe than the other clubs/bars around for sure.

It's okay. Food was a bit disappointing. Apps are just super lacking everything for the price. Service was okay.

We love to come here whenever there's a good show at Amos. The Cajun Shrimp wrap is really good, the best I've had.

We came for dinner before seeing a show at Amos. Food was good, nothing too special but was fresh and tasty. Also appreciated them accommodating our large group on a Friday night with no reservation. Also the service was 💯
