Sadly, the ice cream here is mediocre. Quality is decent but not great, and most of the flavors are strange. The staff is awesome and the setting is clean and inviting, but the product doesn't live up to the hype.

Ever changing hours with this place. Love their ice cream but you’ll need luck catching them open with consistent, normal business hours.2/8/23 Update: Closed during mid-day until 4 PM now ?♀️ Make sure you check hours before driving over. No ice cream for us today. We will drive over to another option close-by instead.Update: Unfortunately back in October they changed their hours on Google maps indicating they were currently closed all day and opening at 6PM but they forgot it change them back until the end of January! We’ve missed a lot of ice cream and expect they’ve missed a lot of sales. Glad to know they’re open during the day again.Update: New hours fall of 2021- winter 2022 hours are so disappointing. ONLY open after dark at 6 PM....ice cream at night only. I’m only in the downtown area during the day.Prepare to be addicted to Salted Oreo...seriously delicious. Finding parking out on the streets surrounding the shop is typically a challenge though.

Claire, at Golden Cow, did a great job addressing the request of adding sprinkles to the Salted Oreo! Not only did she add sprinkles, but she made sure the entire cup was covered in the sprinkley sensation. She also had a great smile and customer service! Well done.

Not a whole lot of options but we got a flight of ice cream and none of the flavors disappointed. Highly recommend the gingerbread pear ice cream it was one of the best flavors I’ve ever had.

I went over there because I saw on line the place has “hot fudge”, so I asked for it and then I had the surprise that for that ice cream store HOT FUDGE Means Cheap hersheys chocolate syrup.Cow creamery: there’s a HUGE difference between cold Hersheys Choc. Syrup and HOT FUDGE, so please don’t advertise things that you don’t have, so disappointed.

Went off the high reviews and were disappointed. The ice cream was just ehhh…not the worst but not a 5 star in flavor or menu selection. We had someone who was needing dairy free and because of an earlier review saw they also offered dairy free, however they only had one flavor and it was a sorbet. So 2 star for flavor, 1 star for vegan options, 1 star for variety on menu = 1 star review

Casey L is full of it. I am from Columbus Ohio, where we've got Jeni's and Graeters - both places with great ice cream. The salted Oreo has a "great ratio" (my wife's words) of salt, Oreo pieces, Oreo cream and ice cream itself. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, so try it before you get it... but it's what they're known for and I believe that it's worth it. We'll be back the next time we're in Charlotte.
Hello all, I by this place everyday as I go to work. Finally after months of telling myself that I wanted to try it, I did. I'm not sure what kind of mood Casey was in when they wrote their review, but my experience is completely different. The salted Oreo is an amazing flavor. I also had something something Crunch. I can't recall the actual name, but that was tasty as well. I'll definitely come back to try other flavors.

The ice cream tastes like homemade ice cream. Very unique and probably the best I've had. Only wish the parking was better, but there's nothing they can do about that. The ice cream makes up for it!
