I recently planned a visit to The Good Wurst Company during my trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I had checked the restaurant's details on Google beforehand and saw no indication of any temporary closure. However, upon arriving, I found the restaurant closed with a sign indicating a temporary shutdown.
As a traveler, this was incredibly frustrating. Not only did it waste my time, but it also disrupted my plans for the day. It's crucial for businesses, especially those in the hospitality industry, to keep their online information up-to-date. A simple update on Google could have saved me and other travelers from this inconvenience.
While I understand that temporary closures can happen, better communication is essential. I hope the management at The Good Wurst Company takes this feedback seriously and ensures that any future closures are promptly updated online. This small step can make a big difference for visitors who rely on accurate information to plan their trips.

The made in-house brat is the absolute best around. Try on a garlic bagel with cheese. Jen and crew are the best

A lot of $ for an excellent, but small sandwich. Sandwich, modest tip (they take your order at a counter or window, you get yourself and plastic knife & girl and, is ordered, render your fountain drink; they take your $ at time of order and deliver your food - and you bus your table before leaving, tip?) side of potato salad and a btl water = $30

Me and husband stopped here for breakfast and were immediately greeted and helped by friendly staffed. we both got the bacon egg and cheese on asiago bagel with hashbrowns. 10/10!! the bagel was absolutely delicious and fresh, as well as the hashbrowns being perfectly crispy. Definitely recommend!

This place is a national treasure. The food is wildly delicious. The employees didn’t just go the extra mile—they built a whole freeway and added a toll booth. I was in no shape to leave my house this morning but I knew I needed their delectable chopped cheese to make my day right. Without having brushed my hair I set on my quest. However, there was traffic backed up for miles in the right lane of the road. After having to honk, stop my car, beg people to leave some room for me to turn in, I was finally up at their walk up window for my order. The gal working was with me in my frustration, we should go to city council together about it. The guy then walked my order to me and escorted me back to my car AND helped me turn so I could go home. Do not trust your hangovers with anyone else. These angels will not let you down.

Good food, friendly staff, definitely go with the more specialty items over burger or chicken sandwich

Stopped in for lunch and we will definitely be back. Great service and food! We ordered the grilled cheese BLT, the Wurst burger, potato salad and house pretzel. All of it was really good.

Food was outstanding, service and atmosphere as well. Only issue was that they were out of a lot of the things we wanted to order.
Parking: Few spots, but they were all available due to slower than usual business.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but it seems they've been under new management the past few months and it's really gone downhill since then. They've removed some of my favorite items from the menu and the service has gone downhill which has been disappointing but the food was good enough that it wasn't a deal breaker.
But then when we visited this evening the whole restaurant smelled like weed. I don't have an issue with others smoking but having the smell fill the entire restaurant while I was trying to eat was honestly really gross.
After coming here regulalry over the past few years I'm sad to say I don't think I'll be coming back again.
Don't come here.

The food looks very appealing and we came in expecting to eat some very good brats.
Our food took 20 minutes to be made which is not the worst timing but the restaurant was empty so we were confused. Nonetheless, the food came out looking phenomenal but with the first bite it was cold. I got an Italian brat with coleslaw and a beef brat with coleslaw and a side of fries. My husband got an Italian brat with lettuce bacon and pickles and his was cold as well. We ate through it because we paid $45 for our meal but I was disappointed with both of our meals being cold.

We went on a Saturday at 4pm. It was not busy. I have never been here so I added extra toppings to my Carolina dog by accident. It was great. My side was cucumber salad which was very good. Next time I’ll get the bratwurst. Friendly place. Small parking lot in the front gravel parking lot in the back.

The quality of their offerings are best , but the confusing menu, not knowledgeable staff is prominent in this review, protein was great, but served in a dry bun, I’ll leave it at that. Good product poor delivery and beer in plastic or paper cups, NO!
