The bread here was fantastic. We got bacon egg and cheese on the rosemary garlic bread. It was soooo good and we will be back!

Best bread I’ve ever eaten. Sooo soft and fresh. He said he mills his own wheat into flour!

I’d love to be able to write a review of the bread I came down here to get but they aren’t even open. Door says Tuesday to Saturday 8-4 and it’s 9am on Tuesday. Not a great way to run a business.

I didn't buy anything because I was looking for a hot drink, but it smelled so good in there. I wish I had a reason to buy bread right now.

I visited this store recently and had a disappointing experience. When I walked in, neither person behind the counter greeted me, and one employee didn’t respond at all when I spoke to her, despite clear eye contact. I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome.
I called the store later that same day and asked to speak with a manager, only to learn that the manager was actually one of the same people who hadn’t greeted me. During our phone conversation, he said, “You should’ve called for me and I would’ve helped you out,” which was odd since he was standing right next to the woman when it happened. He also mentioned that the other employee “can be a bit moody,” which felt like an attempt to place the blame entirely on her, even though he also contributed to the poor interaction. He said “we can have a chat” and that he’d “love to see” me, then invited me to return to the store while offering a free product as an apology.
When I came back, there wasn’t a conversation. After I introduced myself as the person he spoke with on the phone, he simply asked, “How may I help you?” I reminded him that he had asked me to come in and said we could “have a chat.” He then showed me the inventory so that I could select a product. While he was more responsive this time, it still felt reluctant and insincere, more like an attempt to smooth things over than to genuinely acknowledge or address the unprofessional behavior.
As a young Black woman interacting with two older White employees who had never seen me before, it was hard not to feel that my treatment might have been influenced by bias or assumptions. It is not a good look for any business to have staff who are standoffish, “moody,” unresponsive, or unfriendly in customer-facing roles, especially in a shopping plaza that serves a diverse customer base.
I’m sharing this because customer service should make every customer feel seen and respected, regardless of who they are. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all customers are treated with basic courtesy and professionalism.

I usually shop at the Trader Joe's right next to this place and decided to finally hop in. I ordered two BEC sandwiches to-go, one on their honey wheat bread and one on their cheddar biscuit.

Both sandwiches were phenomenal - good portions at a great price too. The herb butter they add is a game changer and they use the perfect amount to where the flavor is noticeably present, but the sandwich is not greasy.

Stopped by for a moment and enjoyed a cheddar biscuit. It's a really nice quiet place to sit down in and the different varieties of options made me want to come back to try more!

Pretty ridiculous that they close at 4, but stop selling sandwiches at 3.
