Great Bread Harvest Bread Co. on Rea Rd has always been such a delight! However, yesterday afternoon (03/10/24) around 1:45PM was quite different from the moment we stepped foot. We weren't greeted by the young guy (of India origin - my apologies didn't know his name, not certain he had on a name tag). Went to the counter, and I had to ask if I could place an order. He then coughed in his hand but didn't wash his hands nor put on gloves while retrieving the banana bars. I wanted to ask him, but others had come inside by that time. Asked for a particular bar, I had to ask again. I had to ask for a bag because I had more than one order. It appears this young man needs better training on all points of service. I may call and request MGMT to voice my concerns.

The Great Harvest at home offers many, many types of bread. They offer free samples too. This is a small store in a strip mall with only a few types of bread, none of which are sourdough, or crusty. This may be an unfair comparison, but I left disappointed with no bread.

Rosemary bread is Great. I'm sure all of them are. Prices are pretty high for bread. We did get the pepperoni rolls this morning and while they taste very good half of them literally have no pepperoni in them. The three that did had maybe a slice at best. I know protein is expensive but if you sell pepperoni rolls you have to add pepperoni. Taste was still good like rosemary bread In a biscuit form. But would never buy again.

We had the rosemary garlic bread to go along with our Christmas lasagna- This is possibly the BEST bread I have EVER tasted!! Soooo delicious!! HIGHLY Recommend. The density, the texture, the melt in your mouth freshness- Toasted w butter, yummmmm ( we asked them to slice the loaf before leaving the store) - next up to try: their cinnamon bread (I hear it's AMAZING) - this is an order & take away place, not a sit & eat

The bread was freshly made. I really enjoy the varies bread options. I don’t know if I came in on a off day but there didn’t seem to me a lot of inventory of bread as well as soup mix options as I have seen in the past.

I've never visited this store, but Great Harvest bread is a favorite in my family. My son can't come home for Thanksgiving this year, so I wanted to ship him a taste of home. Nouri put together this gift box and packed it with a mother's love. She's made my day, my month, my year. If I ever make it to Charlotte, I will be sure to visit her and thank her in person. Happy Thanksgiving Nouri!

Tammy was so helpful and friendly! I am so thankful she took the time to actually talk to me instead of dismissing me like other bakeries/cafes. She really helped me understand which breads work best for what. Highly recommend trying out their bread!!!

I do like their breads and pastries but would it kill them to actually post prices ? I mean - what’s the point to not do it ? Afraid your high prices will scare off customers ? Probably. But just post some damn prices already. But that said - their bread pudding is to die for.

Bought a Dakota loaf for over $9. Guy put them in the bag and when I got home an hour later I saw it had mold on it ?

Small w/no tables this is a pickup and go. Service is quick and easy. They'll explain any selection thoroughly including any allergans. We love the monkey bread or the cinnamon bread w/frosting. It's so delicious like a cinnamon roll. It doesn't last more than a day and always want more!!

Decided to pop in while shopping in the area. The cashier was friendly cashier but l was shocked when I picked out bread and was told it was $9 plus tax!.... how do you pay about $5 plus tax for bread a few months ago, come back and suddenly it's double the price?? I understand times have been tough and I'm all for supporting local but this is ridiculous! Went to Trader's Joe with the bread and the cashier ladies saw it. They told me they used to buy bread from there but stopped because of the price hike, l agree!! Guess that was my last visit

OK so we all know that this ''bakery'' has good bread...and I'd give it 5 stars but I went yesterday to buy some white bread and the price was around $7.50! $7.50!!!! plus tax..... HELLO!!!I am all for helping small businesses even if they are franchises....but this is flour salt and yeast! They are not going to see me for a while and I will spread the word...

I went in on a whim looking for a good quality bread to use to make grilled cheese to pair with homemade tomato soup. I was greeted right when I walked in and explained what I was looking for. They recommended the rosemary bread. This turned out perfect! Excellent quality bread and great flavor!
