Went on a Sunday afternoon. Not too crowded. Sat outside where they had music playing and sports events on the TV's. Nice relaxed atmosphere with many people bringing their dogs for afternoon cocktails. We didn't do a tour or a tasting . Tried their Quinn's Old Fashion which was delicious but a little pricey for a local distillery in my opinion. My wife had their Manhatten which she absolutely loved. They have a good menu of apps, salads and pizza. Nice cocktail list along with flights. Bottles are available for purchases.Would love to do a tour and a tasting next time in the area.

Most of the staff is awesome! Drinks are well made! House made pizzas! Dogs are welcome! Not sure where you can go wrong! Aside from the curly mustache bartender that will take the side of an aggressive dog...

I can’t say enough fantastic things about Great Wagon Road Distilling. I was initially looking at the venue to rent out the back-barrel room for a company cocktail meet-up. Ashely was so quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. Our team wanted to expand the idea into a cocktail-making class, and the Great Wagon team made it incredible! They set up the barrel room to be cozy and comfortable. They took our group and created small groups for tasting, educating, and drink-making. The food was delicious and so accommodating to dietary restrictions. Thank you guys so much!!

My friend & I were waiting at the bar, another customer comes up behind us & the bartender, who is a white women passes us up & asks the woman behind us for her drink order, who was also a white woman. She informs the bartender that we were before her & the bartender replies “ I’m taking everyone’s order” while waving her hand in a motion as if she was serving the bar in order. She continued working & carrying on, with this terrible looking wig on as it was sliding back & at no point did she acknowledge us 2 black women! Absolutely unacceptable! This happened at the location at CLT in concourse A.

Excellent service, delicious cocktails, and the friendliest bartenders I’ve found in a long time. So happy that you guys came to Waxhaw!

One of my favorite places in Charlotte. Using their own very strong selection of liquors, they have a great cocktail list. Their food also always hits the spot, very crushable. I love their pizzas and pretzels.Facilities wise, their inside is comfortable, and they have one of the best porches around.

Love this place, great cocktails and service. Bartenders are so great. Their patio is really well done. The music choices are always so good and never too loud. Games are on, and their pizza is so good.

My wife and I visited while on a brewery tour, and since I love bourbon, I'd figure I pop in. The tour guild was great. The tasting wasn't bad. We had fun overall.

Brooke was super cool. I went in with just cash, she poured my drink and once advising it was card only - she said the drink was on the house and 'welcome'. Great spot, better service. Thanks Brooke!

One of my favorite places for socializing with a few cocktails and some of the best bar food anywhere. We spend a good deal of time in the Charlotte area and this is my go-to when a group of us go out. There is so much to explore in the NoDa District, but this is always our rendezvous point when it's time to eat. Everything on the menu is made fresh to order and the Pizzas are a must try. Our favorites are the Dill Pickle, the Chicken & Waffle, and the Hawaiian. This is also a working distillery and their Rúa Single Malt is one of my favorite whiskies. All Cocktails are made with fresh ingredients and they've now added Cheerwine/Quinn's Whiskey and Sundrop/Salamander Vodka Slushes. I usually stick with Rúa with a rock, the Broken Spoke, Old Fashioned, or the Gold Rush, but the Key Lime & Cherry Limeade Mule, Gin & Tonic, and Gimlet are family favorites. They also serve an impressive selection of local and big name beers and wines. With only an exception or two, we've found the bartenders to be some of the best and most personable around. They boast Large TV's both inside and out as well as a stage in their covered outdoor area for live, local music. Picnic tables, outdoor furniture, corn hole boards, and fire pits provide plenty of seating/entertainment for large groups. They are pet and kid friendly. They have an event space available to book for any and all types of parties, and a small FREE parking lot. This place gets my highest recommendation.

Nice dog friendly bar spot with open-air, covered veranda, live music and picnic tables. Bottle beer was $7... no cash just plastic accepted.

Specific shout out to Oliver! My fiancé loves all things bourbon and I reached out to book him a private tour on his bach trip. Oliver was SO communicative and so sweet. Gave them the best tour and was overall so generous. 11/10 recommend coming here!
