Consistently Great Food and Service for over 35 years, maybe more. I've been going to this place since I was a small child. It provides a basic and excellent experience and they crush it at take out. Prices aren't the cheapest, but the food quality shines and they don't waste money on anything not essential. The orange chicken is my favorite thing on earth. Dark meat chicken and orange peel, not juice, with just rhetorical red amount of chili peppers. 11/10!

Hands down this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to and I've been to a lot. The food is so fresh and crisp, the staff is amazing and attentive and they make you feel like you're at home. Now that I'll be in the area more I'll make sure to make a stop here every trip.

A FIVE STAR REVIEW WELL DESERVED! After a "ten plus year absence," our group (6) decided to give Great Wall a reluctant try. In the 80's and 90's, Great Wall South was a 5 Star restaurant with excellent food and service. On weekends, there'd be a line out the door with every table packed, and another line taking care of the steady stream of take-out orders. Unfortunately, both the quality of food and service declined greatly in the 2000's. After a couple 2 Star visits back then, we simply quit going. Having been so long, we decided to give Great Wall a try for nostalgic reasons last Friday night (not expecting much). Sooo glad we did! I called at 6:15 to make reservations for the 6 of us for 7 that evening. The fact I was able to do so was a concern. That meant it wasn't that busy. Sure enough, we got there.., no long waiting line, none really. Place was maybe half full. But Once we greeted the Hostess, everything changed. Front of the house staff were on top of things, fun, and professional, as was the wait staff. Then...the food! Each of us had a different dish and each dish was absolutely amazing! We had never shared! Friday night, we were digging into each other's plate. Ach of these diners were the best Chinese diner ever. Seasoned to perfection.., the sauce had an perfect glossy sheen...stellar late presentation! To each of us, "The Great Wall South" is definitely back on our "short list" of favorites! For those who also gave up on "The Great Wall," it's time you revisit. It's better than ever. (At this age, I don't write reviews. This visit warranted a well deserved review! That means something coming from me! Only wish I had taken pictures. That's how good the plate presentations were.)

Bad choice. The spring rolls were mushy not crispy at all which means they were sitting around for awhile. The food came out to the table in about 5 minutes after placing the order which indicated that it was prepared hours prior. The taste was bland. This was for the lunch menu so maybe it's different at dinner. I won't go back and take that chance.

The Great Wall Special Trio Spicy was Excellent ! This is one of our favorite dishes. We have been enjoying this restaurant for many, many years.

Food is great, but service is not the best. I came to pick up food for somebody was told it’ll be a couple minutes (Which was fine with me was in no rush) I sat in the little waiting area near the door. I found very disrespectful the employee by the name of Vee saying “Hello excuse me hello” with an attitude while shaking the bag of food like if I was a dog or some type of animal, but also giving me a disgusted look. I never experienced this in my entire existence especially at a restaurant I was recommended and was told had great service. Don’t get me wrong all the other employees are amazing, Kind and have great customer service, the food is great but the employee named Vee just left a very horrible taste with her attitude and her action, I understand having a bad day but you leave that at the door once you’re at work and dont take it out on customers
