Harry's Grille & Tavern - Ayrsley

I chose this place for lunch because it’s convenient to get to from my college. We waited over an hour for our food and had to ask our waitress for an update, only to be asked, “Are you on a time restriction?” Our group was large (7 people), but waiting over an hour is unreasonable. If a delay like that was expected, we should have been informed in advance so we could have chosen a different place. In the end, we had to get our food in to-go containers and eat while walking.

Jimmy and melissa are some of the best people I’ve meet in the service industry in a long time. The pork chop is my absolute favorite and the cocktails are unbelievable.

If I could rate Harry’s less than one star, I would absolutely do so. My daughter and I visited Charlotte for a girls’ weekend, and unfortunately we chose Harry’s to celebrate. This was without a doubt the worst dinner experience. Both our steaks come out almost raw, the kitchen manager took them back without saying anything; twenty minutes later, he returned the plates and left without a word. He didn’t even stay to ensure they came out correctly the second time. My daughter’s steak was still mostly raw inside but burnt outside and had to go back again. The kitchen manager came back and asked her to pick something else they could cook quickly. I have no polite words for that response. My steak ran from burnt well-done on one end to rare on the other. The manager never came back to see us. The poor waitress was apologetic, but couldn’t do much else, especially when her manager didn’t bother. We left after paying for my drink and went to get a cheeseburger and fries for dinner. I cannot strongly enough recommend avoiding Harry’s and the lackluster service. I will give a shoutout to our sever for trying with no support from the management.

This is an amazing restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and amazing staff. I was there with my coworker. There was a little of incident with our steak but upon informing our waiter (JB a very kind gentleman), he swiftly grabbed the manager on duty. The manager (Tristen) was very prompt and understanding. He took the matter seriously and saw it got resolved in a timely matter while also keeping his staff informed; as well as keeping us informed. The whole staff handled the matter with upmost care and also managed to help us laugh about the situation. This was my second time attending this restaurant and I have absolute no complaints and will 10000000000% recommend this to anyone coming to this area. If I’m being honest I would have given so many more stars if I could. Thank you to the staff and more specifically JB and Tristen!

Love this place great staff great environment real friendly had a minor set back with my steak but they were able to resolve everything in professional matter and Tristen the manager was also amazing and our waiter JB as well, will most definitely be coming back here if I’m ever back in town definitely recommend this place!!

October 13th 2024: I had to remove two stars. Why sitting down and was attacked by multiple gnats. Which made my meal feel rushed. Every two or three bites I had to shoe away a gnat. ? On the side note, don't go here alone unless you're sitting at the bar. They tend to forget you. ?

The genuinely love this place. The staff is professional and the food was great. ❤️

Aways a great meal at Harry's. The bartenders are great at mixing fun cocktails w the infusion of the month. Menu is solid. Kick it casually at the bar or make a more formal night if it. Either way, it's one of the best options in Steele Creek.
