Great local music. Eclectic group
We went on a Sunday afternoon for my friends birthday and there was a football game on and we were greeted SO warmly by the staff and patrons both! What a fun atmosphere!!
Hattie’s is the best! The most welcoming environment in Charlotte. Plus - they ACTUALLY follow mask policies and covid protocols. I feel SO SAFE there and the staff is so wonderful. Don’t be a jerk and you’ll always have a home at Hattie’s!

The bar is dog-friendly and LGBTQ+ friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere that includes board games and an N64. Live music and community events are regularly hosted, and karaoke is a popular activity. The restaurant also offers fresh hot dogs made outside and has a great selection of drinks, including PBR. While some noise can be an issue, overall, Hattie's Tap & Tavern is a fantastic local bar that's always worth a visit.
