Hawthorne's New York Pizza and Bar 7th Street

Mooresville Location… We love the pizza, but our order is wrong half the time. When placing an online order, the employees have to hand key the order into their system. More times than not, the order is keyed wrong. I’m tired of having to wait extra time because of the carelessness.

Just ordered pizza for the first time from Hawthornes. I’m from NY and haven’t been able to find good pizza around here. This pizza was absolutely delicious! I’m so happy I found this place!

My wife has some dietary restrictions and health issues that limit was she can eat. The manager came to our table and was extremely accommodating on trying to find something that would work for her. Ended up being a really great meal and experience. I appreciate their customer service efforts!

We LOVE Hawthorne’s! It’s a staple for our family dinners and is consistently delicious. As a Jersey girl, I look for quality pizza and it’s nearly impossible to find in the south. Hawthorne’s has the best pizza around! It is authentic NY style. I personally love “the inducer” aka the buffalo chicken pizza. The chicken is always fresh, never dried out. This visit, I got the buffalo chicken Stromboli with a side of ranch and a side of the broccoli which is sautéed in olive oil and garlic. It was delicious! Also recommend: the Hawthorne salad, the antipasto salad, garlic knots, pepperoni pizza, penne with vodka sauce, and meatball parm sub. The service is always good and the staff is very friendly. They also do an awesome to go service. Everything is accurate and comes out hot. It is very family friendly, affordable, and has parking.

Love this place so much! Matt always does an amazing job taking care of us at the bar! The manager Amanda was excellent as always. Highly recommend this spot!

I was visiting the area from out of town and found this pizza joint/bar by accident on Google. Very friendly hostess greeted us when we walked through the door. Sat down and the waitress was also extremely friendly and took great care of us. The Caesar salad was good but the pizza was amazing. I’d say it was in the top 5 pizzas I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. I’ll be back.

Ordered the Buffalo chicken “the inducer” pizza and salad for delivery and when the food arrived the pizza was not even warm, needed to be heated in microwave and it is advertised to be spicy and there was no spice at all. Pregnant and was recommended this pizza but probably won’t order again. Disappointed since this was my first time trying it and this place.

Nice atmosphere. I was there between lunch and dinner on a Saturday. Service was quick. We had an 18" pizza, half pepperoni/half meatlovers and plain wings & fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. Manager came by once we were done to chat.
