Hawthorne's New York Pizza and Bar Highland Creek

Just ordered pizza for the first time from Hawthornes. I’m from NY and haven’t been able to find good pizza around here. This pizza was absolutely delicious! I’m so happy I found this place!

Great pizza and garlic knots. Would definitely go back.

I got one small pizza and one large pizza and it came up to $40! Toppings are 3.99 each. The take out person was nice and friendly. Again my only issue it that I think they are high

Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the New Yorker pizza.

To start, I had garlic knots and buffalo jumbo wings. For my entree, I got a 9” pizza called Elizabeth Special, and for dessert, I had cheesecake.

Health and Safety Hazard. Found a piece of metal in my pasta dish. This was a dish I was sharing with my 1 year old daughter.

Overpriced and mid at best. I ordered sweet barbecue wings and a small cheese pizza. The most disappointing part was the pizza. It barely had any sauce or cheese. It was like school pizza. Thin and bland. I would recommend any other authentic new york pizza place nearby instead. The wings were OK but the chicken had no flavor.

I was there om Sunday 10/20/2024 and was overcharged for having refills on my drinks. I tried telling the server the error and wax told he charged me because I had three refills. I don't remember this restaurant ever charging for refills I told him and he they always had. After I asked for a manager he came back to fix the error anyway. Just thought the whole thing was a bizarre moment and I'm not considering not going back because of this.

I won an Instagram contest for a free pie and had to order an extra pizza and garlic knots to feed my crew. This did not disappoint. It was great!

I recently visited Hawthorne’s Pizza Bar to celebrate my wife's birthday and had a mixed experience. The decor was your typical sports bar/pizza place style, which was cozy and inviting. The service from our waitress was great; she was attentive and friendly throughout our visit.

However, the food was extremely lacking. We ordered a half-and-half pizza with Luau and Chicken Bacon Ranch. Unfortunately, the pizza came out soggy with almost no toppings. The Chicken Bacon Ranch side had almost no chicken and no bacon, just a few diced onions. The Luau side had tiny bits of pineapple and just a little pulled pork. The pizza's looked "NOTHING" like the pictures from the website, which showed a gorgeous pizza full of toppings. While the sauce was good, for $30 a pie, we really expected more toppings. We didn't expect an exact replica of what was pictured online from their website but we had hoped that it would have been something "close". Felt a little like false advertising. Under-delivered the NY pizza experience in a big way.

We want to give this restaurant another try to see if they can still live up to expectations, as others in our family have recommended it highly and love Hawthorne's. However, at another $30, we may have to take a pass and try another spot for our NY pizza cravings.
