We ordered an 18" NY pizza with sausage, garlic and bell pepper, and a Caesar salad. There were hardly any toppings on the pizza! This is the second time we've ordered from the Hawthorne's NY Pizza in Ballantyne in the last 3 weeks and both times, where there were hardly any toppings. The kitchen is getting very stingy with the toppings, especially for the price! Been ordering from this location for over 4 years, and recently, the food has gone downhill!

Would give zero stars if possible because of the service. The food here is just... fine. You'll find better pizza and Italian food elsewhere, but it's close so I stopped in for dinner with my young daughter. At one point she had to use the restroom, so I told the server we were getting up to use the restroom and that we weren't leaving and weren't done. We come out of the restroom a few minutes later and our drinks are gone, and my daughters pasta is dumped on the table, and her plate is gone. Another server and some random guy (the manager?) start saying that they thought we left, so they started to clear the table. The guy even catches a bit of an attitude with me because I'm clearly irritated, and let him know as much. Even though they replaced our drinks and my daughter's food, I'm still quite angry about this. If you're the parent of a small child, and it's just you and them out for dinner, you'll need to help them with the restroom. You don't expect your food and drinks to be cleared, especially after you tell the server "WE ARE NOT LEAVING." This place tries to fashion itself as a place for families, but that rings pretty hollow when stuff like this happens.

So this was my second time going to a Bojangles restaurant and this time I tried the fried chicken. Now I ordered a 3 piece dinner thats supposed to come with 2 thighs and a leg, 2 sides of my choice which were french fries and cole slaw. So mistake number one, I didn't check my order until I got home. There was a leg, a thigh and a breast. How do you switch a piece of chicken and don't tell the customer, or maybe someone didn't pay attention to their menu. I asked for honey, didn't get it. My fries were cold and soggy and I didn't get hot chicken either. This was a bad experience. But the chicken was tasty. Maybe I'll have to go further away from this location to get better service.

My son and I were looking for a light lunch after his soccer game and we found Hawthorne's on Yelp. He wanted either wings or pizza so we came to Hawthorne's and got the best of both worlds. We split a plate of garlic parm wings and an Italian sausage and pepperoni Stromboli. It was a great combination in a generous portion. We enjoyed both parts of the meal and our server took care of us. There was a plethora of TVs and and the layout of the rounded bar made the place seem roomy and welcoming. Hawthorne's is now 1 of 3 go to places in this area for a casual meal. Thanks!
I ordered 1 large buffalo chicken pizza and 1 large pepperoni pizza the other night totaling $53. The food was good but I wouldn’t say it was worth over $25 per pizza. I think if it was maybe $15 each I’d come back here, would be more worth it.

Terrible pizza! Ordered the Sicilian cheese pizza for Super Bowl Sunday from DoorDash, the box was heavy ALL BREAD the cheese and toppings were literally the thickness of a fingernail… avoid this place!

We had dinner on Friday night, and the place was super busy! We were seated quickly and had a great waiter, Trevor! Manager came by and spoke to us, we told him about the excellent food and service. We will be back!
