I visited Hef's Restaurant for the first time this past Sunday night (June 29) an it was awesome! The best part was our waitress Jamie. She was amazing! What a personality! And she gave us incredible service and was so nice and professional.
Also, this may seem small to you but THANK YOU for having Stevia sweetener packets! Stevia is the best and most healthy sweetener and a few restaurants serve them but not many. Having Stevia sweeteners will definitely make me come back!
And finally, being open until 2:00 a.m. is terrific. I play tennis a lot in the evenings until 10:00 p.m. and not many places are open. So, you will see my tennis group coming after tennis in the future.

The shrimp with crack sauce was really good and our server was great! The music was a bit loud and intense for the indoor area. We wanted to eat on the patio for that reason but it was closed. They played all the NFL games which was great! Not dogging the place at all, could just use a fresh coat of paint ?

Came in on a Wednesday night after work- was super impressed by the vibe…planned on just getting a drink and leaving, but the MUSIC was so good, that I stayed and ordered food. Used to come in the past; but it was the music that was missing. Not sure whose playlist was on the red box, but 10/10 stars. Kept the vibe mature and relaxed .

They get all around 5 stars from me. Even though it was raining and no one was there. It was wonderful service and food Was nice and hot and so delicious!!!! You will definitely be seeing me and my husband back here again.
Hef’s was a huge part of my early 20’s when I would come home on Leave from Active Duty Military service while I was in the US Army. Back in those days they had $3 jager night and $.40 oyster night $.50 wing night etc… I’m sure like my early 20’s those days are long gone as I am 34 now and things have changed for the worse sadly. I’m very glad to see Hef’s Bar and Grill is still open and serving the South Charlotte Community. Next time I’m home I’ll come by and get a plate of those amazing wings and a pitcher of Margaritas with my friends.
