**Discrimination** On November 6, I visited this establishment and met my family here, who had recommended it.
Upon entering, we were seated at a table. I approached the bar to inquire about the menu. However, I was greeted with hostility and an unpleasant attitude. I had my service animal with me, and we use a belt leash. In an aggressive manner, the bartender informed me that dogs are not permitted. I explained that my dog is a service animal, but she remained unmoved. She reiterated that dogs are not allowed.
I requested a manger and proceeded to sit down with my family, waiting for my family’s arrival. A waiter approached us and apologized for the treatment we had received. However, the manger then informed me that dogs are not allowed. I reiterated that my dog is a service animal, but the manager responded that he had an incident with a customer and their dog, and that the dog had urinated on the floor. This is the reason for his no-dog policy.
I explained that the manager’s actions were in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Meanwhile, my dog remained silent and was by my side at all times, under control. For this reason, I am compelled to give this establishment only one star.

I love the food. I love the atmosphere. I've been coming here on and off for Five years five Only place I can Think of that has such good food served until 130. The drinks are also well, worth the price tons of special Going on very frequently, I will say service sometimes leaves a lot to be desired I like to think I'm a regular here More times than not Asia who is not a Server always comes over to check on me and make sure I'm doing good. Gives me whatever I need. Please make her a server because she would just kill it!!! Regardless of that, I'm a repeat customer because the food and drinks make this place well worth going to

This is me and my girlfriends spot when it comes to our date nights. The food is excellent and service is great. Specifically Asia she always does us right and helps us in anyway she can. She would make a great server! Overall, I am always satisfied with hefs Including their bar. And don’t get me started with those lemon pepper wings!!

I used to come here twice a week with my boyfriend and we always enjoyed the food, but after our recent experiences we won’t be back.
On one visit, a new server (an older black woman named Rashonda) added an extra tip on top of the automatic gratuity, even though we had already left a cash tip on the table. When we caught the charge and called, the owner admitted what happened and told us we’d be “taken care of” the next time we came.
When we finally gave the place another chance, we were ignored by the bartender for nearly ten minutes, only to be told there was nothing they could do. So not only were we overcharged, but the “solution” we were promised was just empty words.
This place took advantage of loyal customers and then dismissed our concerns. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Very dark and gloomy atmosphere. Almost seems like a place on the verge of closing. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was meh. I had a crab boil. I ate it. But didn't enjoy it. It was the kind of place where you wouldn't complain because it something about it seemed so sad.
I visited Hef's Restaurant for the first time this past Sunday night (June 29) an it was awesome! The best part was our waitress Jamie. She was amazing! What a personality! And she gave us incredible service and was so nice and professional.
Also, this may seem small to you but THANK YOU for having Stevia sweetener packets! Stevia is the best and most healthy sweetener and a few restaurants serve them but not many. Having Stevia sweeteners will definitely make me come back!
And finally, being open until 2:00 a.m. is terrific. I play tennis a lot in the evenings until 10:00 p.m. and not many places are open. So, you will see my tennis group coming after tennis in the future.
