I hosted my daughters bridal shower at Heirloom on 1/13/24. They did an amazing job from the start when I contacted David to start planning, to menu selection and all of the fine details. Chef Chris Davis did an outstanding job executing an upscale authentic Italian menu. The staff were terrific , on point and attentive. Everything was delicious and so well received by my guests, even the Italian New Yorkers approved! My entire experience was easy, seamless, fun and delicious. Thanks!

A little slow service but then we learned that we were close to last service. Food was amazing, sorry to see it go.

I wanted to have an upscale dinner while family was in town visiting so we made a reservation for heirloom on a Saturday evening. We were bringing our baby so made an early reservation, the restaurant was not very full when we arrived at 530, but by the time we were leaving it was packed. Our server George was awesome, he went over everything on the menu and made some recommendations. I posted photos of everything we got. Since it was our first time we tried a lot of items. Everything was really great, I loved the vegan "oysters" which were mushrooms, the grilled Caesar salad, and the short rib papparadelle which was a special. My only complaint was that every dish was rather salty. I personally love salty/savory items, so when I think a dish is salty, it's pretty bad. Not sure if it was an off night or that's standard, but will all of the unique menu options, they should let the flavors come through and cut back on the salt.

Great for a date night dinner! Tried this place for our anniversary date night and the place did not disappoint. Food is good. Will try the chef’s tasting plates next time.

What a wonderful restaurant from start to finish! The location, the vibe, the pace, the dish presentations, the interesting cocktails, but most of all the beautiful flavors of every dish! I can’t recommend Heirloom any higher. We can’t wait to go back and try other dishes!!

They catered a party for our Lake Norman vacation. Professional and exceptionally tasty!!!The salmon was fantastic but the Harissa chicken was epic!!Whole family enjoyed everything.Their crew set it all up and cleaned it all up. No work, all fun.

I am visiting my Son who I haven't seen since the start of Covid. I wanted to thank and treat his In-Laws for all thier care & support over Lockdown. He recommended The Heirloom as he had experienced a couple of great meals here. Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. We chose from the Queen's Menu during Restaurant week. Unfortunately, we were all disappointed with the food. Late starter for my son which meant ours was going cold ( they did give him extra ). Our main courses were ok but I was expecting fine dining and dessert was disappointing too. I unfortunately, did not feel this meal was value for money - which disappointed my son and his in-laws.

We went to Heirloom during Queens Restaurant Week. The special Queens Week menu looked good however we were both drawn to items on the main menu. The Asparagus Soup, my starter, was truly “over the top”…delicious. My entree of Shrimp And Grits…East coast shrimp, house-made creole sauce and locally milled polenta was a tasty delight. Have your server explain the dish as it is nothing like your usual shrimp and grits…it’s much better! My friend started with Bao Buns…Pork belly filling, house made hoisin, scallions and pickled vegetables. Her entree was Sopressini Fra Diavolo - roasted red peppers and San Mariano tomato sauce, red pepper flakes, basil, pecorino. Really tasty and perfectly spiced. She also enjoyed the in house made Coffee ice cream. Heirloom prides itself in using local ingredients and in house made sauces and desserts. When items are not available locally they reach out to Regional purveyors in SC and VA. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable about all menu items and gladly explains each dish being considered. Service was as much a 5 star experience as the wonderful food.

We had our anniversary here and chose the Chef's multi-course divert with pairings. GREAT experience! The plates were all good ?, even the non-traditional ones! Would come again.

All the props to this place - had truly one of the best meals and experiences I’ve had in the Charlotte area. First off, Belmont is such an awesome little town to visit and Heirloom is a treat within. We sat at the bar and were served by Choice — an amazing mixologist — try his version of the Aviation cocktail. The menu is amazing and focused on locally sourced, seasonally fresh, sustainable foods. We had the Med salad and Brussels bulgogi style to start. The sprouts were phenomenal. We followed up with the lamb chops and brocollini. The lamb chops were exceptional. As we were enjoying our meal, a gentleman sat next to us and struck up a casual conversation - it turned out to be the owner of the restaurant. What an amazing experience to learn about how he began the restaurant and to get to know his passion behind it! Thanks Patrick and Choice for a beautiful night that we won’t soon forget. We will certainly be back soon.

A chef driven experience in a relaxed atmosphere right in central Belmont. We chose to share various plates, each with distinctive flavors and unique presentations. Exceptional service from a local with wonderful insight into the menu and preparations. Comparatively speaking, a very reasonable check as well:)

This is an upscale restaurant. The ambiance is very nice and relaxing. Our service was lovely. The food is hit and miss. It is the same problem we have had two times in the past. The first issue was the fish. I could not eat 14 ounces of fish. Server said I could split it with someone. We did that when the order was placed. You would think we were asking for an act of God by them splitting the order in the kitchen. They refused to do that. The ceviche did not have much fish in it and the blistered Shishitos seemed to be missing the coconut creme. The food needs to be consistently good and it is not.We have now attempted this three times and will not go back for a fourth time.

We chose outdoor dining. Acceptable enough until that train came by. Wow! Extremely Loud! The vegan crab order was a bit too exotic for my taste. Perhaps tofu instead of jackfruit? All of it resulted in GI problems through to the next morning. I may give them another chance, but was not thoroughly impressed this time.A bit pricey as well.Hard to find parking on a Thursday night. Guessing it would be worse over the weekend.Three stars.
