Hestia Rooftop

I was in this restaurant on Saturday 4/12 celebrating my BFF 50th birthday and Meghann Edwards and Jackie was very unprofessional and displayed racism towards us. So when eating at this restaurant and you are of ethnic origin please be prepared to be mistreated. These ladies refused to serve us during our reserved time slot stating the kitchen was closed to our party but we stilled had our financial obligations to meet which was never a problem and then felt the need to threaten us with calling the police on us. I guess the only solution when dealing with black is to call the police sad situation. To sum this up I DO NOT recommend this restaurant.

I hosted a private event at Hestia Rooftop. While the planning process with Ms. Tenille Allen was smooth and professional, the actual event was deeply disappointing due to the conduct of two individuals claiming to be general managers—Jackie (last name unknown) and Meghann Edwards. Both repeatedly interrupted our celebration with unprofessional and confrontational behavior. Their approach was intrusive, dismissive, and escalated the situation unnecessarily—even threatening to call the police, despite no disruptive conduct from our group. Their actions were embarrassing, disrespectful, and felt targeted. Our celebration was overshadowed by hostility and a lack of basic courtesy. I am compelled to share this experience publicly, as it was not only mishandled but also raised serious concerns about professionalism and potential discriminatory treatment of Hestia Rooftop. I strongly advise anyone who is African American considering this venue for a private event to proceed with caution if Jackie and Meghann Edwards are on duty.

A beautiful restaurant with amazing service. We got the chef’s nigiri platter along with some appetizers such as potstickers. The basic salmon roll was delicious as well. I’m not entirely sure that their food is worth what it’s priced, but with the service and ambiance you get an incredible experience

Toni was our server and she was great!! The experience as a whole was phenomenal, and we especially loved the ambiance. We only came for drinks and apps, but everything was so delicious, definitely recommend!!

I was thoroughly disappointed with the food quality in relation to the prices demanded. Ordered a sushi roll with shrimp tempura and eel which was just not good. Overwhelmingly fishy in a bad way. Also had short rib potstickers which I thought were a bit dry. I did like the spicy edamame a lot, and the drinks were all original and good. I had also ordered a sweet potato dessert, which was very good. The view from the balcony was very nice, and the dining room was very presentable and upscale. Would go back but only for drinks/dessert.

The team at Hestia made our group dinner a huge success! They took the time to listen to our needs, navigate our budget and wow us with a few unexpected touches. I can't wait to go back!

The food here was absolutely amazing, I came with my family to celebrate a birthday and we had a great time. I’d highly recommend this place (the white truffle Mac is DELICIOUS)

We attended a friends wedding at Hestia. Every thing was phenomenal: the food, service, atmosphere. Meghan was extremely helpful in the planning of the event and really went above and beyond for the family. I highly recommend events here. We will definitely be back for a date night as well!
