We’ve frequented Hex since their pop up days. Consistently the best coffee in Charlotte and I’d say most major cities. It’s always our favorite. We use their beans at home— just so dang good and reliable. We’ve tried other premium roasters but we keep coming back. The new cafe is awesome. The taro yogurt and hex special are top notch. I only wish they would sell the vanilla syrup by the bottle bc it’s the BEST. Thanks guys and gals!

This was our first visit at Hex on a Saturday afternoon located at Camp North End in Charlotte, NC. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. Our friends ordered items seen in the attached photos. While it’s a small coffee shop, it’s also a great place to bring your laptop and eat while you work. Enjoy!

Cute clean place, service was fast but their matcha latte is straight up just milk. Also the spam masubi is very salty. Don’t recommend these, but the vanilla latte was good!

Coffee was phenomenal and I loved the tartine
I love finding new local coffee spots, so I was really excited to try Hex. I ordered a chai latte with one shot of espresso and almond milk. It was DISGUSTING. I’ve had a whole lot of coffee—some amazing and some terrible. This was the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. It was $8 so I wanted to try to drink it but it had a weird aftertaste that felt tingly on my tongue. I don’t know why. For someone who tries to steer clear of large coffee chains, Dunkin or Starbucks would’ve been better than this place. My sister also came in with me holding boba she got from somewhere earlier. She was looking at the menu so she could order some food, and the woman interrupted another customer during her ordering to tell my sister she couldn’t have an outside drink in there. This is a grab and go coffee shop, not some fancy sit down restaurant. It was SO weird to be rude about an outside drink. It’s completely understandable not allowing outside beverages, but she could’ve been kind about it. So the service wasn’t great and the coffee was terrible. I do not recommend wasting your money here.

Visited Hex this afternoon while walking around CNE. Lots of folks working on laptops and it looked like plenty of plugs making its remote work friendly. There’s also a large shaded patio area right outside. I ordered an oat milk matcha and it was fantastic!
