This place is a mess. Empty glasses, bottles, baskets and plates on all the tables. (So many that the poor dishwasher is probably just standing around till the end of the night when the servers get a bus tub to do everything at once.) Bussing tables isn't even a thought here. Server after server walked past all these dirty tables with empty hands all night. The bathroom had soap in just one dispenser, half the stalls had no toilet paper and there's a mountain of trash in the bin.

This is a good place to eat and go, noise level is nice, plenty of TVs, nice staff.
I ordered a cheesesteak, but it was tough, bland, and not nearly chopped enough. There were big chunks of meat. The fried we're to salty but fresh and hot. My husband ordered fish with tots. The fish was salty and mushy, and the breading fell off the fish.
Was running errands with a friend, we stopped in for a beer & a bit. Never got acknowledged, we waited, found another sports bar within 300 feet so left. Didn't get to try anything.

I usually have a great experience at Hickory Tavern, but my first time visiting this location was pretty disappointing. Normally a nice place to come watch the game and get some good food and drinks, except this time they were out of almost everything I tried to order. The waitress was nice (so I don't blame her) but I came around 8pm, so not terribly close to closing time and they didn't have 4 different drinks I tried to order and then they were out of fries when ordering food. Decided to get BBQ chicken nachos (which were great) and a water. The food is always good, maybe just caught them on a bad day / time.. which was overall dissatisfying.
