We visited this establishment twice. We like everything here. But I would like the wings to be more fried. In other similar bars, the meat comes well off the bone. But here it is denser, that is, not fully cooked.

Here from out of town for 5 days, this is my go to spot for 4 of them. The food is better than your average "bar type" food, the service all week has been great, and overall a great place to visit. Everyone, from management on down to the hostess, has been extremely polite and personable. Personally recommend the Carolina cheesesteak and honey bee sting wings. And if you ever get to meet nicole(regional gm), consider yourself lucky. Looking forward to my next work trip back here.
I came in at 9 pm on 3/18, sat at the bar to order food to go and waited until 9:12 pm with no one ever coming behind the bar. I had to get up and ask someone if anyone was working the bar. There were 3 other guest waiting as well. It took another several minutes for the waitress to get the bartender. I over heard her save that I’ve been there a while. The frustrating part is that you could hear them talking in the back. After they came out I got the look of death like I’m the problem. How do you leave a bar unattended for that long.This place got a little better but is again back to old form. You wonder why a place like this is dead at 9 pm…it’s the service. It’s easily the worst service in the area. The only time that thing seem to go well here is when they have musical Bingo. It’s literally the only thing that keeps me coming back because the family enjoys it.9:00 pm sat at bar9:13 pm order placed chili for appetizer and salad9:30 pm drink is empty, nothing. No food. No drink.9:32 pm new drink9:35 contemplating if I actually need to eat9:40 guy that came in 5 minutes ago get his wings. I have to ask what’s going on. This is insane.9:42 I got my chili app9:42 update…the chili is cold9:50 still nothing. Talked to the manager and I am leaving hungry.Just close the doors.Kid-friendliness: The food for the kids is great. Good options with two sides. The kids love it here. TVs everywhere and kids menus they can draw on.

While driving through town, my wife and I I stopped here and I’m glad we did. This would be an excellent place to watch a game. Many TVs, good food, and we sat right down on a Sunday afternoon!

Customer service it’s BAD! People looks angry all the time. When we order for pick up, they don’t want to service or work. They just ignore you.
The food here is horrible. The wings had no flavor and weren't even cooked all the way through. The tater tots had zero seasoning. Disgusting

This place is pretty rough, instead of complaining I’d like to touch on the one good part of my experience. They actually served me chicken, rare, the way I like it without me even asking! Most places won’t do this for “health reasons” but these guys had no issues sending it nice and cold in the center! I could taste the slime and cold juices the second I bit into it and I knew I’d be in heaven soon!The atmosphere here is really awful and management clearly runs the place with an iron fist. It’s like Soviet Russia meets North Korea vibes.I digress, definitely go here for the rare chicken though.

I know that giving 1 start while saying food is 4 stars and atmosphere is 5 stars , however what matter the most to me is service . I went to the hickory tavern on Sunday with a friend to watch games and have a bite. The girl at front ask if we want high chairs or low we say low. After 5 minutes she come back and lead us to a DIRTY table she puts the silverware and menues and LEAVE. After waiting in the table for 15 minutes without being acknowledged me and my friend decide to leave. All what I know is Hickory Tavern CLEARLYkses a customer who goes their 2-3 times a week.
