Awful experience! I can’t believe you can’t reprint a receipt from the day before! You know people are traveling through your airport for business. Should be easy enough to reprint a receipt for someone’s expense report. Awful customer service and I will not be eating here ever again.

My husband and I came through Charlotte airport twice for our layover to and from vacation. Both times we dined here and Shay was our bartender both times and she’s amazing! Attentive, always friendly, service with a smile. Honestly was so happy we got her on our return trip! Sushi was also top notch!! My go-to from now on if I’m passing through!

I just paid almost $30 for the worst old-fashioned I have ever had in my life. I actually believe it’s my fault. It’s an airport, they didn’t post the prices on the menu, it’s a sushi spot right smack dab in the middle of this place. Idk if they’re just not paying the employees enough. But they should be ashamed for charging that much and not putting out a better drink. I truly can’t believe that they would charge that much period for any drink like that. And with Basil Hayden no less.
I ordered sushi here and was shocked by how rude the staff was. After paying, the lady told us we had to leave because our sushi was “to-go” and we weren’t allowed to sit at the bar. She said it in a very unpleasant tone, which completely ruined the experience. On top of that, the sushi was nothing special — definitely not worth coming back for.

Janice and Laura made our stop over such a pleasant experience. From Janice spicing up my sparkling guava margarita to Laura whipping me up a fresh serving of spicy tuna sushi, both were lovely and so service-oriented. Thanks ladies! ⭐️

We selected our sushi and paid at their “take away” machine after asking the chef if it was okay. I thought they’d apptreciate it?!? We then walked toward the tables and their employee told us very rudely that we couldn’t sit there! Because we didn’t ask for table service we had to eat in the “food court”. Their sushi is okay, the chefs smiled and were friendly….but this ONE employee is incredibly ridiculously a pain. BTW they had at least 15 empty tables with one occupied table. What the heck?

I ate at the bar and had excellent service and a delicious fresh roll which i thought came at an excellent price especially for an airport!
Being near the piano player was a plus!

I stopped by this place while waiting on a flight in the airport and wanted a snack. I thought everything was fine even though the sushi is overpriced and tasted comparable to whole foods sushi.
I was notified a few days later though my CC provider via alert that I seemed to of left a 40% tip on my bill. Which is funny because I was never shown a tip screen when I paid.
I assumed this would be the case since the kiosk is set up as a grab and go instead of a restaurant.
I picked up 1 sushi roll and water, and then when I tried to sit in the seating area near the cashier had the nerve to tell me that this was for the bar customers only.
I suspect this had more to do with hiding their screen than it did me actually sitting there.
This is fraudulent and I will be contacting my CC institution.
Per other reviews this isn't the first time it's happened either.

Truly gross. Frozen. Even had it been fresh, still gross: *way* overcooked rice so gelatinous as to form a solid mushy layer, barely any cucumber or avocado in the first half of the roll and none in the other, even less shrimp. Yuck.
I had gotten food from Carolina BBQ pit and there were no seats in the food court. Went to go sit down sit it was mostly empty and was told it's only for people who got food that little sushi takeout.
Very disappointed.
asked for tofu on the veggie roll when ordering at the bar. grab & go had a veggie roll without CC. specified i’m vegan and no cream cheese but still gave it anyways, didn’t realize until i ate one and fixed it. PLEASE TAKE NOTES SERVERS - feel like they are too “busy” to know what vegan means
