This is inside of a Hotels restaurant.

We did not know this so finding it was pretty hard. When we got there we learned that you have to place your order online and then pick it up when it’s done.

My boyfriend got the piece chicken strips and the chicken sandwich. He didn’t finish either.
He loves chicken sandwiches… so that says something.
He said that there was absolutely no flavor other than the Cajun spice. I tried his chicken strips and I agree.
His hush puppies were craaazyyy dry and oily and the dip that came with it was still frozen.

My chicken bowl had absolutely no flavor. The chicken balls had barely any meat, they were mostly breading and it was super oily. The rice had no flavor, and the sauce that came with it didn’t help at all. To top it all off, the coleslaw was old. The lettuce was suuuper soggy.

I don’t recommend this place.

I prefer my chicken tenders with more chicken instead of breading. The hushpuppies were dry and the sauce with them was congealed. Decent flavor on the chicken but just too much breading too little chicken.

Ordered chicken wings. Thought it will be smaller size wings, but they were huge and heavy. Well breaded but lacked the spice inside the chicken. It will take atleast 2-3 people to finish the order. Definitely worth the price for the food quantity provided. Could do better on seasoning and marinating the chicken.

This “sandwich” came from a ghost kitchen in a hotel. Was not ready until well after the scheduled time. Cheap, tough piece of chicken, breading more than twice as thick as the chicken. Not spicy at all and a bun entirely too dense. Complete waste of money and inedible.

This is no longer its own storefront. It is now a ghost kitchen for Mimosa Grill.

Spices are addictive, reminds me of Sichuan mala. Chicken is well-fried. Extremely crisp, not too out skin, and tender meat. Wish it’s a little less sweet, but it may be because I haven’t had Nashville style chicken before. They can totally open sit-down locations with this quality.

Had the hot honey chicken at mimosas for lunch, it had no flavor despite looking pretty good. Pass in the future.

I’ve been eating here off and on since 2019. I always recommend Horace’s to anyone and everyone. This evening I had it again for the first time in a while and am wondering what happened…new owner? The chicken sandwich was not even close to what was the best chicken sandwich I had ever had. Pickles no longer fired…the slaw was different…the chicken was just breaded chicken. And why have the kiosk if you’re not bringing food out any longer. I had no idea I had to go into Mimosa to get it until I called. Nothing stated that on the kiosk or when I ordered.

What happened!? You had THE best hot chicken sandwich in the South! Now it just burnt breading with dry hot sauce.

Fast delivery. If you’re having a hard time finding it, it’s across from Chipotle and Potbelly. Really tasty!
