Awesome spot! One of my favorite spots in Charlotte for tacos and drinks. The service is always awesome, and the food is one of a kind. The service is always great and the drinks and food are worth trying.

Things have definitely changed as the staff has changed and the food quality is changing for the worse. I ordered the chimichanga my fav from here it was w/o the accompaniment s the 1st and 2nd time they "quote on quote" fixed my order it was still wrong. The 3rd time they got it right. I will still support Hot Taco you guys should try it!

Worst service I have ever had. We got there at prime time, about 6:30 on a Saturday night and the place was almost empty. We thought about leaving but decided to give it a try. We couldn't get the waiter to come take our order. Tried waiving at him when he passed but he ignored us. The food was just OK and slow to come. When we were done, we waited over 30 minutes to get our checks but no one came. I had to go tell the waiter that if we didn't get our checks in 5 minutes, we were leaving. We told him up front how to split the check but it came all on one ticket so he had to go and redo them. Wish I could give zero stars.

Had the Build your own Bowl which was great. The chicken was flavorful, the pico & avocado was fresh. Very pleased and satisfied with the meal.

We had a wait for a table but the panthers game had finished an hour before we got there. Our food was really good and they had a lot of options on the menu. Our order was accurate and was prepared quickly. Our waitress was friendly and came by to check on us and get us refills.

10/4/2022: Took bartender 10 years to clean off the space we were seated at at the actual bar. She first came over and said she'd be right back. Took her at least 10 min because she started taking other people's drink orders. I had to ask someone else to do it. They were busy, but lackluster customer service at best.

Went here for my friends birthday and the food was good, however the service was absolutely horrible. It took forever to get our drinks and the restaurant was not that busy, half empty. Then I was the first to receive my order however my friends did not receive their orders till 30 minutes after mine. One of my friends did not receive her two tacos till one hour after I finished my meal. We also had to ask to comp her meal, and her drink, which I don’t understand why we should have to ask that after it being over an hour till she received her meal after I was finished with mine for over an hour. The manager did not give an apology really. Just an overall bad experience.
Came here for my birthday expecting to have a nice dinner with my friends, ended up waiting 2 hours for all of us to get our meals. When our bills came to the table everything was added to the wrong ticket. Had to wait another 30 minutes for everything to get fixed. I will not be coming back here.

The food here is garbage. The tacos are sloppy and fall apart due to an excess of god knows what kind of sauce. The meat was extremely salty. They are very disorganized. Do not waste your money here. The food will make you sick.However, my server Nicole was very sweet and attentive. She was the only exceptional attribute towards my experience here.

Even though we arrived @ 7:30 pm on a Sunday, ( I swear we didn't know) JORDAN was exceptional. He made sure we didn't want for anything. Service was great. Food was delicious as always. Came for dinner on a Friday night. We were seated quickly and Derrick was our server. We regularly eat out, and Derrick was one of the best servers we’ve had. Very attentive and food/drinks came out as ordered in a timely manner. Prices are very reasonable, food was delicious. We will return.
