This location needs to close down. Floors are Hella sticky, they slow as hell and there's no customer service and the employees off the street walk in and out the kitchen without washing their hands

I generally have good experiences at ihop, but this has to be the WORST location in America. I only deal with them because it’s close to my house, but I can’t anymore. It’s pretty empty here today and I made an UberEats order for an omelet and pancakes at 9:32am… it’s now 10:22am and I’m still waiting. No one really cares here and it shows.

I am very disturbed at my order this morning! I ordered my children pancakes and waffles and come to find out my daughter bit into a screw that was embedded in her waffles! When she came to tell me she bit into it I immediately took the food away and discovered more screws on her food! This is very scary, my daughter could have swallowed these screws specially because she doesn't have front teeth! I am very shocked at the fact that it was NOT 1 screw BUT MANY screws! What are the cooks doing? This is certainly NO accident but someone's DOING! I will seek help because this can not be happening! This is sickening!( my daughter's throat is scractched and her tooth hurts!) I MUST and WILL contact MY attorney!

Like the other reviews , staff was upfront saying they were understaffed. Staff was friendly. Management should hire more staff.
Took 38 mins to get my food. Food was fine, just need more cooks.

I was skeptical about this location because I was literally the only person dining during lunch hour in a busy area. Nonetheless I looked up Google reviews and decided to stay. I felt like VIP I had everything to myself, cook included. Place was clean, food was fresh and tasty and service was pretty good from my server Va'shay, who was sort of softspoken. Reminder not to judge a book by it's cover bc they over delivered! One of the best IHOP experiences and I've traveled the world. Highly recommended and will revisit.

First off me and my five ppl were at this location and for at least 1hour another family came in and got seated before us and at least 3 other groups if you going to be picking ppl out of the first come first served then I think they need to just take reservations

After seeing all those terrible Google reviews, I decided to check out this IHOP on Woodlawn Road near the Charlotte airport for myself. The area is known to be sketchy and surrounded by homeless people — in fact, on my first attempt to film at 8 a.m., the staff told me they couldn’t serve me because they had a break-in overnight.
I came back around noon, waited a few minutes before anyone noticed me, and finally someone walked out from the kitchen just to say they were short-staffed and it would take a while to be served. No table offered, even though the place was almost empty. Five minutes later, the only active waiter came to take my order.
There were only three tables occupied — one with a woman eating alone. I ordered a coffee and my all-time IHOP favorite: the Big Steak Omelets with the classic fluffy pancakes. While waiting, I noticed one table called the manager to complain about an undercooked meal and asked for a refund; the lady dining alone requested a fix on her order because it came wrong; and the couple at the third table told me they also had to return a dish with the wrong ingredients. Meanwhile, loud uncensored rap music was blasting from the kitchen.
My food arrived faster than expected — about 20 minutes — and all I could think was “please don’t let them spit in my food” since everyone had clearly noticed I was filming. First, I got my coffee, but the waiter forgot the silverware, so I had to grab it myself.
The omelet was extremely greasy, dripping oil with every bite, and the tiny steak pieces were mostly burnt. The pancakes — which are usually soft and fluffy — were so undercooked they were hard to chew or even cut with a fork. While paying, I overheard what sounded like the manager telling the kitchen staff to stop using their phones.
Obviously, I can’t recommend this IHOP location. I just hope IHOP steps in and invites me back once they turn this place around.
And one last thing about the Woodlawn IHOP — they’re missing a lot of things… but mostly smiles.

The nastiest place i have ever been in. Cigarette butts in the floor. Trash everywhere inches of dust on the floor. Rating was 90. We left!!! Only 1 person working

Terrible!!!! Hostess wasn’t at the door for us to be seated, server said she was too busy lol the cook (again the COOK) came & sat us because we had waited so long. I have never had the cook back of the house come to the front of the house to seat guests!!!!!!! Food was ok had a to go order steak tips & eggs called to have it made fresh meal was cold to the touch I live about 7 mins away. Never could reach anyone phone just rings.

Horrible experience. We got sat by what seemed like the manager and she forgot my hot chocolate and once we placed our order she said “that shouldn’t take long”. But it took about 30 minutes to get it. Finally, now what seemed like our server, brought our food and there was a hair in my food so I sent it back to re-make it. My pancakes were cold and hard and I’ll put pictures below. I had to send those back too. I never saw the manager again and I barely saw my server. Never offered or got us refills. Didn’t receive napkins and didn’t get to finish food because we just wanted to leave.
