The service was terrible; our party ordered our meals. The meals was cold and the food was brought incorrectly. We had a long wait. The servers were rude and disrespectful. The manager was apologized for the bad service. Our bill was taken care of. They offered us two free meals next time when we return.

Why do yall always have such a problem answering the phone? I will call 5 times, and never get an answer that morning. This has happened about 4 times in the last year, so we dicide not to eat at ihop as much due to this. Yall loose so much business due to incompetence to answer the dang phone. Tighten up

Fast friendly service and good food! I have a family member recovering from surgery and she had no appetite and she desperately needed to eat something. I suggest suggested I get IHOP takeout for breakfast because she's always loved IHOP in the past and I thought the smell and taste of the food would make her feel good. I went to the IHOP on Lancaster Highway in Southeast Charlotte. I walked to the door and the young man manning the register opened it for me and gave me a good morning smile and a welcome. The other team members I encountered all smiled and said good morning. I wanted to order my food there so it would be hot when I picked it up. My food was ready in six or seven minutes. 15 minutes later when I got to my sister's house it was still warm and it was all packaged so the pancakes didn't get soggy and the eggs and the crispy bacon did not get soggy. As soon as she smelled it she sat down and started to eat and she ate every bit. I also asked for a side of blueberry compote in case she had taste for that with her pancakes, and she did eat some! We will definitely be back to this location!

They do not pick up their phones. They leave things out of online orders. The cooks are great but management and people on the phones need to be talked to If there’s an issue with our order, who are we supposed to talk to? We gotta drive all the way up there because of their mistake on an online order? DoorDash and Uber eats is not going to refund every time. Can’t rely on that I did a test and I called this location over 100 times throughout the day at different times just wondering how long it would take before someone actually picked up they never did i’m actually amazed normally I wouldn’t go that far but the five times that I have ordered and had issues I never was able to get someone on the phone this time. I just got curious I wanted to see How many calls it would take Apparently, 100 was not enough whoever is on the phone needs to be fired because they’re clearly not doing their job. In fact they hang up on you intentionally

Great servers and good food. What more can you ask for? Great prices! This place was easy on my wallet and atmosphere and coffee were fabulous. Ample parking, clean bathrooms, and personable employees.
Fantastic Breakfast & Outstanding Service from Alexandro! IHOP on Lancaster Hwy is one of the best breakfast spots in South Charlotte. The food is always fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked — pancakes are fluffy, coffee is strong, and everything comes out just the way you order it.
A special shout-out to Alexandro, who made the whole experience even better. He’s friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about his guests — checking in often, keeping drinks topped off, and bringing great energy to the table. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it really shows in the service.
If you’re near Ballantyne or Waxhaw and want a great breakfast with friendly faces, stop by this IHOP — and definitely ask for Alexandro!

I ordered via Uber Eats… I didn’t receive my salsa or sour cream that I paid extra for on 2 meals. The portion of hash browns is half of what we would receive dining in and more expensive due to Uber Eats adding more for services. I do not recommend ordering takeout from here. They will keep their upsales from us and cheat you on portions since they can get away with it. I can’t drive right now and needed food—- the least thing they could’ve done was read the order and provide decent portions. I recommend this establishment provide togo orders with the same amount of respect and value as they would if one would dine-in. This is not okay.

I got hot and fresh pancakes, the staff was extremely friendly, and the location is VERY clean, I can NOT say enough about how kind the server and the manager(a woman, sorry o forgot her name) but they were BOTH excellent, it was so nice to chat with them and have a great carry out experience.

My husband and I go to this Ihop every Sunday. The food is always good and the restaurant is most very clean. My only complaint is the staff. We always sit in Kyle's section because he is always working so hard and is very good and friendly. But some of the other staff just stand around and do nothing. We have witnessed several times where Kyle will be running around taking care of his people and on top of that he has to answer the phone (even after asking if someone else would get it) and bus his own tables. The host, bus girl, and 1 or 2 other waitresses just stand at the front and talk. It is very frustrating and we aren't even the ones having to deal with them.
So are we just making cheese omelettes in advance now and throwing toppings on top? I always get this. I’ve never seen it look like this. It’s covered in huge onions and everything’s just thrown on top. There’s nothing inside of it. And barely …. 😒
