Been in here for the second time and got the same results I can say from my experience seems like the employees here are prejudice. They are very rude and stand offish when it came to me and seemed more welcoming to other people. And before anyone thinks I'm just saying this I've worked in the service industry for well over 10 years

Just to say it is excellent, different dishes, very good service, I have already had the opportunity to repeat this place several times.

We came here with a party of three to celebrate a birthday. We brought in with us three bundtlett cakes and were immediately told that there was a cake cutting fee. For three people? I can see charging a cake cutting fee for a large party, but not for three people. I then ordered the shrimp pasta and again was disappointed. I don’t believe the amount and quality of the entree was worth $22.95. As we finished our dinner and received the check, I was again disappointed to see that the restaurant charges a 3.5% fee for using a credit card. Needless to say, we will not be visiting this restaurant again.

Go to in the hood we often forget about. Never had anything bad here on a menu with lots of variety. This time it was a pizza pie. Don't forget this place has pizza. We got a supreme, crust is delicious, sauce and toppings super fresh. Cooked perfect.

My second and last time dining at Intermezzo was intended to be a birthday celebration for a friend who chose the restaurant. Upon being seated, our party of three was immediately told there would be a $3.50 cake cutting fee for each of us - as we brought Nothing Bundt Cake bunletts with us. The waitress was polite about it - but we asked to speak to the manager. Service seemed to be of low importance as the manager came to the table and informed us, dismissively, of the charge - and pointed it out on the menu. In addition to the cake cutting charge - also printed on the menu is the disclaimer of a 3.5% fee for credit card purchases as well. We would have spent a lot more on appetizers and more expensive entrees prior to the interaction with the manager - but decided to scale the meal back to smaller entrees that seemed out of balance with the price. Had we not been there with a friend for his birthday - we would have left after the interaction with the manager. While I understand a business needing to be profitable - I would be mindful that there are too many other dining options in Charlotte. Most of which would make a more professional practice in financial and service matters.

This menu is full of delicious pizza and amazing dinners. I got a lemon chicken with asparagus and mashed potatoes and every bite was absolutely heavenly! The service was excellent and the server was so friendly. So many great things to choose from. I can't wait to check this out again. There were so many things I wish I could haveeaten off the menu

The food here is create, and unique. You can really expand your palate with the traditional Serbian dishes of which I haven’t seen a bad one yet. The pizza is amazing, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Every time I’ve gone, it’s been a wonderful experience.
