Im highly pissed off about the sushi I purchased yesterday ?. Ishi’s must be under new management because the food was terrible taste. This place use to be my regular spot for sushi but I will never return again for this mess! All bread no shrimp and the smallest pieces of crab meat. If I wanted bread I would’ve went to Popeyes to get biscuits! It’s best to cook at home because these restaurants will serve you anything!!

The cream sauce was unlike any other i ever had. Absolutely terrible. The steak had a very weird taste. I love hibachi food, i would NOT recommend this place. I went at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and no other customers were there. It just seemed very unsanitary and distasteful.

Ishi used to be our go-to date night spot for sushi and hibachi. They had great prices on excellent quality and sized sushi. However, we haven't been back since the pandemic shut them down to carry out only. We keep hoping they'll open back up and offer dine-in, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen 4 years later. We live 35 mins away, so takeout isn't feasible and we don't want to eat in our car in the parking lot. If they ever open back up entirely, we'll be back!

My go to Hibachi spot. Bad day? Ishi. Good day? Ishi. Mid day? Ishi. They bless with the amount of food and they cook it perfectly. My favorite is the chicken and steak with all the veggies and add mushrooms.

The food is very bad, the place is abandoned, dark and disorganized, the person who attends the box, prepares dishes, and without washing his hands, returns to the box, Google does not say that it is just takeout. ??

Order the Chirashi and California roll. The salmon was very fresh and succulent. The roll was delicious as well. I am definitely making this my go to place for express sushi!

Our family has been a fan of Ishi's for well over 20 years. We love their Sushi and especially their Hibachi Chicken and Teriyaki Salmon dinners. We wish they were able to open back up for inside dining but understand that finding good help is still difficult and they have a good take-out business that we are happy to participate in. The owners are awesome and so friendly. We are happy customers for life.

So disappointing! The shrimp and vegetable hibachi came without shrimp, the rice in the hibachi, and for the sushi roll was wet, mushy, and had no flavor at all. The tempura batter was incredibly thick and the vegetables not really cooked underneath, with the whole platter very greasy and tough.I've never been disappointed by anybody's tempura or sushi before, until now.

Love their hibachi. I’m picky with my hibachi spots and this one is one of my favorites. Food is very consistent and service is fast. No dine in, it appears the dining room is used for storage. Must’ve happened due to covid.

Ishi hasn't opened for dine in. They are carry out only and they open later in the day. We called ahead and our food was ready when we arrived. The portion size are huge. Love the carrots. I am not to certain about the beef. The flavor is off to me. So I'll stick with the vegetables.

Best hibachi in Charlotte, hands down! Ishi has been a favorite of ours for ages, even when it was in the strip mall. They still have quality food at great prices. This time around we got the Panther Roll, the mixed hibachi vegetables, and chicken/steak hibachi. The chicken wasn’t too dry, and was yummy as always. The steak was cooked just how we liked it, medium rare as ordered. The Panther Roll was amazing! Definitely appreciated the extra sauce on the side of the sushi. It’s a 40 min drive to Ishi for us, but WELL worth it!Also, I can’t write an Ishi review without mentioning the carrots. I could survive off these things. SO good!!

The place was empty. Got veggie hibachi with Ramen noodles. Received veggies with thick noodles, lots of sauce, lacking in hibachi flavor. Ishi side sauce was separating and tasted bad. Staff member told me to sign receipt and walked away talking to friend on blue tooth. Not sure if this place was ever good but they are not even trying.
