My husband is newly from Jamaica. He says this place has baked chicken and not Jerk chicken. We have been in search for a good Jamaican restaurant since he entered the country. He would rather cook his own. I have been requesting that he open his own restaurant here because there is a difference between authentic and Americanized.

I paid $30 for 3 oxtails amd and some rice. I see why they have no customers. .. never again. My receipt says $29.17 for 3 oxtails and rice. If you serve more than 3 oxtails in a large order , i need a refund

No kinda hot sauce

Giving them two stars because the food was decent but the service was not good at all. I went in to order jerk wings and was told they’re only available on the weekend (the menu does not state that). I was then also told I couldn’t substitute or upcharge to replace my rice in my meal for Mac and cheese, that I had to get a full side. Instead of getting the meal, I got a side of jerk chicken and the side of Mac n cheese that wasn’t even good. I am on my way to an appt so I ordered my food to-go and sat down at a table for a moment to take a few bites so I didn’t have to eat in the car while driving. I was then told I had to leave and I cannot eat out of a box (a box they gave me) at the table. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back and I used to refer so many people here - that ends today.

Was excited to try this restaurant because it’s close to home. However I’m a little disappointed because the peas and rice are very bland had no flavor. The cabbage as well like there was no spices at all. I got the stew chicken and that was good . Price was pretty good too $11.75 and it was a small plate but lots of food .
So over the sides dishes needs spices

The jerk salmon sometimes is cooked to perfection with a beautiful crispy glazed top,
When it’s not it’s super soft and barely cooked with a sweeter taste, not much jerk flavor …

The first spinach I ordered had an
amazing creamy rich flavor,
other times it’s simply canned spinach warmed up

The rice and peas are 6/10

The Mac and cheese absolutely not
the noodle choice was disappointing

It’s simply a gamble to order sometimes good sometimes not good at all..

They have some great juices!! 10/10

I'm not sure if anyone has ever had the chicken soup on Tuesdays. But baby!!!! This soup is so delicious hearty, season perfect chicken is so tender. Dumpling, chicken, yam. This is the best soup I have ever put in my mouth 😋. So good!!!! Thanks for what you do. 🫶🏾

Listen the food did not disappoint!!! I ordered Jerk Pork & Brown Stew Chicken both small. One with rice and peas and spinach, the other with, rice and peas and cabbage. Everything was delicious. The spinach was absolutely amazing and the flavor on the pork was bomb. It was nice and tender, and melts in your mouth; worth every penny, reasonable price, fast friendly service I will be back!
