JackBeagle’s Morehead nails the laid-back bar vibe with seriously good eats. Jack’s Tenders, fried pickles, and loaded waffle fries always hit—but the Blackberry Sting wings are my favorite. Worth the trip alone.

I’m new in the city, and my friends and I decided to try this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the experience was disappointing. There was no host or staff member to greet us, and no one offered to seat us. After standing there for a while, we had to seat ourselves. What made it worse was that the staff were sitting at the table directly behind us, chatting casually with their friends instead of helping customers. When they finally bothered to bring us menus, they did so without even a greeting or any courtesy. The service was careless and unprofessional definitely not a place I’d recommend.

There is no air conditioning in this bar and it’s been that for over a week! I was really excited to finally go to JackBeagle’s for the first time but it is so extremely hot and muggy in there. I tried to go again a week later thinking surely it would be fixed by then and it still wasn’t. Really disappointed because the food and staff are awesome, but where is the AC? I feel sorry for the staff having to deal with that because it was uncomfortable to be in there only for a few minutes for me. If you want food, order it to-go cause you won’t be able to sit there and eat it without sweating.

Currently up at 4am….listening to obnoxious loud music coming from the property. It’s way past closing time and it’s no reason why the music should be this loud. So close to calling the police and making a noice complaint. It’s super inconsiderate to the people that live nearby. Please, the neighborhood is begging you guys..please shut the music off.

While Jack Beagle’s may have its charm during business hours, the ongoing issue of excessively loud music late at night is impossible to ignore. The owners, managers, and closers routinely leave music blaring well past closing time — even when the streets are completely empty.
This is not only unnecessary but extremely inconsiderate to those of us who live nearby. Residents have a right to peace and quiet during the night, and it’s frustrating that this issue continues with no regard for the community. Music should not be playing outside of business hours — plain and simple.
I truly hope this matter is taken seriously and resolved soon. It’s disappointing when a local business forgets to respect its neighbors.
We found this through a search of places in Charlotte for good food. This didn't disappoint! We really enjoyed it! The service was great, too. There was only one guy working, but he was on it. We will go back when we are in the area again.
