If I could give 0 rating for this restaurant food I would give 0. I ordered biryani, chicken curry and chicken pakora, never had this terrible food ever. I am surprised that some people gave 5 rating. Biryani was nowhere close to biryani, chicken pakora was so hard to chew and chicken curry was dipped in tomato sauce full of salt. Overall so bad taste, please don't waste money.

Probably won’t be going back. Food was bland and tasteless. Everything served on paper plates. Building looks old and unclean. Came for the buffet which was advertised on their website but was told that they no longer have it once we got there. Very disappointing experience

We went to this place with least expectation. This place is a hole in a wall. We got here close to 8pm on Saturday evening. Upon entering place looked slightly sketchy but we decided to take our chances. We were greeted with a smile from a gentleman behind ordering counter. He sat us on left side of sitting area all the way. There was another couple there besides us on this Saturday evening. We were seated and provided menus. From my initial observation this place seems to get a lot of phone orders, but that doesn’t mean you lack customer service for patrons who are there in person. And I am aware of on going shortage of labor. But we waited 27 minutes before anyone came up to us to take order or even provide water. After waiting for 30 minutes and no acknowledgement from the staff, we decided to leave. Try this place on your own risk. Overall 0/5 stars.PS: I have 3 mosquito bites on my leg, and I was wearing pants.

I got the lunch special. The food was delicious! Proper Indian spices and flavors. The lunch portions are large and filling for just $15. I will go back for more.

Terrible food.Dal Tadka - It is seasoned lentils. How can somebody spoil this dish. Ask Jaipur, they can. As an out of towner, I picked up take out at this place and I regret having gone there.

Worst experience one would ever encounter, it stinks as you enter, very bad Customer service and they charge $2 extra for a pickup - chicken briyani! I would never come back here.

Ordered Vegetarian lunch for two, one of the mixed veg curry was spoiled and I sent it back. The server told he got a fresh made mixed veg curry and it was also spoiled. In desert he gave rotten gulab Jamun and old rice pudding they were horrible as well. This worst Indian restaurant ever. Not recommended at all.

I absolutely loved this place and will for sure be coming back. I dined in with my boyfriend and his friend who have been coming here for years. Tons of flavor, food is quick, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Recommend for anyone.

Looks are certainly deceiving here! Don’t let that make you miss out. My husbands Reddit group raved about this restaurant so we decided to check it out. Definitely did not disappoint! Other than not having a buffet due to covid:( the food was incredibly yummy and the owner was so sweet and kind. Worth checking out whether you decide on takeout or try dining in!

Don’t overlook this superb if aesthetically underwhelming restaurant. Rich deep sauces, plentiful good quality lamb, diversity of excellent curries, gracious attentive service. Very uncrowded (most of their business is takeout) so probably not great for a date unless you’re okay with completely silent surroundings.

Ours was just what we ordered (and hoped for)! We ordered your basic chicken Tikka masala, vegetable samosas and naan. The portions were large. The sauce had a little heat, but not too much. The naan was fresh and sizable. The veggie samosas were delicious, especially being that dipping sauce! I was concerned about the price compared to other local places, but the portions were solid; no complaints here.UPDATE: Just ordered the same stuff as last time, but added Chicken Biryani. DELICIOUS. Spicy. Aromatic. Loved it.

Ordered lunch buffet for $13. Everything was amazing. It wasn't the normal buffet due to COVID, but rather food was freshly prepared and brought to your table.

Excellent Indian food. My wife and I shared samosas, I got the chicken Tikka masala and my wife got the butter chicken we shared Nan bread. It was our first time here but we'll be back next time we are in Charlotte.

I can’t believe how good this was. I got the 3 curries lunch special with meat, it was all over a large bed of basmati rice, and came with naan bread that was also huge! I was not disappointed and it was enough food to eat 2 very large meals off! Any time I’m in south Charlotte, this is where I’m going for lunch!
