Just left Jake’s Good Eats. That’s the first time I’ve ever been and I will definitely be back. I had the shrimp and grits. It was probably the best I’ve ever had. My husband got the New York strip and he loves his too. The staff was very friendly as well!

First time in for dinner and will not be the last. The Chicken salad sandwich was great! The homemade chips were hot and crispy, Veggie platter was Huge (Okra, Zucchini, Mushrooms and Mashed Taters). YUMMMM Everything was scrumptious and plenty of it. Brought home enough for lunch. Be sure and seeing by if you're in the area.

On a Wednesday evening, I got the fried seafood platter with the homemade chips. I had more chips than seafood. Portions were terrible for $28. Wife got the shrimp Po Boy sandwich. She liked it. We shared a spinach and artichoke dip. Chips are a little weird. Got a tea and a water. After tip and the 3.75% service charge that the restaurant should eat for the price we have to pay, came to $69. Can I recommend...? Probably not. Also one wait staff for entire restaurant. Things didn't get refreshed quickly.

Just had lunch there today and was impressed. I love Turkey burgers but have honestly never had one at a restaurant I enjoyed but I must say I LOVED yours! Flavor and texture were great - loved the roasted red pepper mayo. Hushpuppies were delish too.Added beignets to my order as I was checking out and so glad that I did. Super flakey and yummy!

I expected great things and left disappointed. Everything is fried together so that was limiting with my allergies. My grilled chicken was unseasoned and bland. My daughter's sandwich lacked seasoning also. She wouldn't eat it. I will say the venison quesadilla was FANTASTIC! It's a meal in itself and I would have it again.

Food was good; servings were huge!The only drawback was that it was so cold in the restraurant that the food did not stay warm long at all. The young lady explained that if they had it warmer, when more people came and it got warmer from the number of people, the air conditioner could not cool it back down.

We live near by and have been wanting to try this. After traveling all day we saw this on DoorDash so placed an order. My wife ordered the wedge salad. The menu said it came with blue cheese, so my wife was thinking since it’s a wedge that would be blue cheese crumbles and for dressing she chose ranch.Our order arrived and it didn’t have blue cheese crumbles and did come with ranch. She called to ask about the crumbles and was greeted with a rude reply of “I don’t know I don’t make the menu”. My wife suggested they clarify this on the menu and was rudely hung up on by the restaurant, and then her number was blocked when trying to call back. I verified this by calling with my phone and it went through.I may be wrong but I thought the customer was always right. Doesn’t seem like this place values customer service. Such a shame because we try to support local. I was looking forward to a good experience but if you’re looking for good customer service, don’t go here.

Jakes Good Eats was recommended from a client. First time for me. I placed two orders over the phone for take out. Ordered a Po-Boy shrimp hoagie and a BLT with sides of fries and pasta salad. Time was perfect as when I arrived it was just getting bagged up. The host and cashier there were friendly. I actually forgot about taking some pictures of the lunch that we purchased, was really hungry!! Upon opening the containers over filling with food, definitely worth it!! Very generous proportions. Did not expect the amount of food. So fresh and tasty!! I also been told that all the deserts are homemade and are huge portions! I would definitely be returning.
