Walked in when there was no line after 9 at night. Had our 4 month old puppy with us. She is also an ESA. The girl looked at us and said dogs are not allowed in the store. I said What an ESA? And she said again we don't allow dogs in the store! My husband just said whatever and took her out. I also left because I don't believe in giving my money to places that treat people and their pets poorly. I live in South End and have seen 100's of dogs in line with their owners to go into Jeni's. We weren't sitting inside just getting ice cream to leave. Guess you should change your features on Yelp as well. What a terrible spot.
I absolutely loved the butter gooey cake—it was outstanding. Rich, indulgent, and perfectly balanced in flavor, it truly stood out as a highlight of the meal. A must-try for dessert lovers!
We lucked out and got there when there was next to no line. Sometimes, the line is crazy long at this location, so be prepared to wait. The fresh waffle cone was excellent, but the service wasn't the best. Parking is also hard to find near the location as well. The flavors were good but definitely not the best ice cream that I've ever had.
While waiting on the patio at this Jeni’s, a young boy was walking around fundraising for a football tournament. His family was quietly sitting on the stairs of Hawkers, which is across from Jeni’s and not even part of Jeni’s property. A worker from Jeni’s — someone I distinctly remember wearing a spiked metal choker — came outside and abruptly kicked the boy and his entire family away from the area.
Even if the fundraising was somehow an issue (which it really shouldn’t have been, since everyone nearby had clearly already bought ice cream), there are far better ways to handle that than shooing a kid and his family away in front of everyone.
It left a really bad impression, and I won’t be coming back.
Peanut butter ice cream with chocolate chunks
The wait is still a hour during key times. Low energy
I dont mind waiting in lines, if you do, because warned the line stays long. The ice cream is tasty, but not for that price. You're paying for the experience in my opinion. Also, either I was reading the menu wrong or it isn't clear enough. I won't be going back, I don't think it's all that worth it, but that's just me. No hate just, sharing my take.
P.S. They had a water jug (cause the summer time) but the water was hot. Like not even room temp. Like as if it was intentionally made hot. Like the only thing that can be cold in the establishment is the ice cream. If anyone who works at this location comes across my review, could you please throw some ice in there every now and again?
So upset I spent my money here. Spent close to $40 for extremely small scoops of ice cream. They rush you through the line. They had a little bit of ice cream flavors. They have definitely changed for the worse.
Wow! Awesome ice cream, awesome people, great experience. Definitely coming back!
The TEXAS SHEET CAKE (DF) is amazing.

Went on Saturday night and it was busy! The line was long but took about 20-25 minutes in line and it was worth it. The employees were friendly, let us see the cones being made, tried various flavors, and even had recommendations. Almond brittle and birthday cake was delicious!
