Service was terrible. I waited several minutes just to be acknowledged, and when someone finally came over, he acted like I was a nuisance. It took 15 minutes to make two simple turkey subs because the staff was too busy gossiping. No urgency, no professionalism. When the food was finally ready, they just tossed the subs on the counter and left the bag next to them — couldn’t even bother to bag them. This place has seriously gone downhill lately. Not sure if management changed, but it shows.

You pay $1.20 for avocado and you barely get anything at all don't add avocado it's such a rip-off

I came here once with my child and ordered two sandwiches. We were visiting NC, so will not be back to this restaurant. I am not very familiar with the menu, and they were very patient while I was ordering.
After our sandwiches were made, we unwrapped our sandwiches at the table. My child's sandwich rolled right out of the wrapper and onto the floor. The staff was so attentive and remade his sandwich so quickly and they were so nice about it.

The shrinkflation with this particular store is very strong. I have been going here because I really enjoy Jimmy John's but over the past year, the sandwich has gotten smaller & smaller.
They barely put any meat on it & just overload it with lettuce. I've been to other locations around Charlotte that give better portions but this one in particular is very bad with ingredients.
Save yourself some bang for your buck & go to Harris Teeter to get a giant sub for marginally a few more dollars

Not sure why so many bad reviews. This location is near my work and myself and my staff eat there often. Our orders are correct and quick.
Today, me and a fellow colleague went in. The line was to the door. People were loud and it was lively. The ACC tournament and bar crawl were going on. Instead of standing in line we sat down and did a mobile order so we could grab and go. We got our food without a long wait. The staff took care of everyone. It seemed that all were happy. Thank you for the good customer service and good food. This is why I like Jimmy John’s! Keep it up!
I’ve continued to order from this location regardless of them constantly not making my sandwiches correctly. Either something’s missing or they’re not giving me what I asked for. In this particular instance I asked for extra cucumber and lettuce aside from a few other changes, mainly because I like the added freshness to my cold cut sub. You can see through the lettuce, they failed to take all the bread out of the top so it was lumpy, and to top it off I got a single row of extra cucumber even though I made a note of wanting (x2 EXTRA) -as in double the extra amount. They really skimp when you’re not in front of them (seeing as I order delivery), if it’s a freebie then why have a problem with the specifications of the order. It’s not like I wanted it fresh sliced and fresh baked, with the most prominent choices of add ons I just wanted a hearty sized sandwich with less carbs. Also I clearly asked for a whole pickle not a cut one.

On Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, I ordered online from this Jimmy John's location on College Street - Uptown in Charlotte NC. Upon arriving at this location around 5:00 p.m. I felt the call of nature so I just immediately made a beeline for the bathroom. When I emerged from the bathroom, an employee immediately confronted me rudely & aggressively and asked me if I had read the sign on the bathroom door, which stated that it was only meant for customers, and he repeated this policy to me verbally. I calmly replied that I was indeed a customer - that I had ordered online. And I stated that I will prove it right there and then by going to the counter to pick up my order. I then asked him if he would apologize to me for this rude aggressive behavior after I proved I was indeed a customer, to which he replied he would never apologize, regardless! Needless to say I was shocked at this offensive behavior but I calmly proceeded to go back to the counter to claim my order. But even after I had proven I was indeed a customer, both this initial male employee and the other female employee that had made the order continued to berate me & argue with me, stating REPEATEDLY that the bathroom was only meant for customers, despite the fact that I had literally JUST proven that I was a customer by picking up my online order, but that didn't deter them from continuing to argue and berate me, never once apologizing. They stated I should have declared immediately when I entered the premises that I was a customer before I proceeded to the bathroom. Needless to say this devolved into a shouting match when it should have just ended when I proved that I was a customer and they should have just apologized immediately and that would have been the end of that. But none of that was forthcoming. I was then going to sit down to eat my order (as I had intended) but they told me that I was not allowed to stay and I was rudely told to get out. I have never experienced this level of rude horrendous customer service in all of my life. I am a minority and I believe 100% that this is racially motivated behavior. And once they went down this path, and even AFTER I proved that I was a customer, they just couldn't turn back, so they just doubled down on their racism. I have no doubt that if I was a white person none of this would have happened. I am not one to pull the race card but this just seemed highly racially motivated. So I left. But to add insult to injury it turned out that they didn't even get the order right. I had asked for three wet ingredients on my order, namely mayonnaise, creamy season dressing, and oil & vinegar. Eventually when I got around to eating said sandwich it turned out that none of the above three wet ingredients were put on. The sandwich was as dry as the Sahara desert. I would have understood missing one or even two of the three wet ingredients but to miss all three? And any sandwich maker worth their salt would have noticed that they hadn't put any kind of wet ingredient on the sandwich and wondered why anybody would order such a dry ass sandwich! I threw the sandwich away, as I wasn't at home and there were no ingredients around me that I could put on this sandwich to make it worth eating, not to mention that I didn't want to eat a hate-filled sandwich made from anger and vitriol, instead of love. If they were only more concerned about the quality of their product as opposed to racially policing their bathroom, the world would be a better place. Needless to say please don't ever patronize this location because not only is their product awful, their employees are racist too! This location brings shame to the Jimmy John's franchise and will drag and sully their corporate name. If you look at their other reviews I'm not the only one stating this about their customer service. This location is just trash. Just stay away. Close it down!

I have found the SLOWEST Jimmy John’s in America!
I walked in around 4:20 on a Saturday with no one in line and one other guest in the shop.
It took 14 minutes to get my sandwich….like I said…there were no other customers….and they weren’t filling a large to go order. ?

Great Experience- Excellent fast service and clean
I was a assistant manager of a Jimmy Johns in grad school. I know the location intimately. This place is very poorly managed. Large number of people on their phones in plain view. The store isn't dirty, but definitely not clean. Also they are dramatically reducing amount of food. I would imagine to cut their food cost ratio. This is an obvious poorly managed location. Grade: D.
