My Rookie visit today! And let me say I will definitely be going back. The Crew behind the counter were awesome. No skimping on the scoops. The ingredients were extremely fresh. I love the fresh jalapeño rather than pickled ones. You get more than your money's worth for the price. Great little semi hidden gem uptown. Oh, do go early to avoid the lines at lunch.

If itâs your first time, tell them youâre a rookie and ask for the ârookie cardâ â itâs a great way to figure out what to order. And if you can, go on a Tuesday for the chicken tamale special⊠itâs absolutely worth it.

This spot is POPULAR for a reason! Food is high quality, employees are REALLY nice, and price is fair, given the portion sizes. Wish the place were open besides just 11-3pm on weekdays, but I do understand that itâs catered more towards employees during working hours. The long line moves very fast.

That was the best burrito I have ever had. All of the ingredients were super fresh. They gave us a ârookieâ card and explained how to order. All of the staff were very friendly. Loved the beer opener as a first time guest and gum in the bag for afterwards. The owner went to Johnson and Wales in Charleston SC (where we are from), and we were here to drop our daughter off at Johnson and Wales in Charlotte. He made us feel right at home.
