This was our second visit to Juniper Grill for lunch and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich and Fish Tacos, both of which were perfect. My Prickly Pear Margarita was delicious and strong.

Most importantly, our server, Madeline, was impeccable. She was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, allowing us to enjoy our conversation with friends. The noise level was also just right for a relaxed dining experience.

Juniper Grill is quickly becoming my new favorite spot in Charlotte for a casual meal!

I recently enjoyed a pleasant experience at a local establishment. The atmosphere was quite inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly. My meal was pretty good.

Really great find. Loved this place. We sat at bar and had salads which were amazing and the cornbread was the best we ever had.
The bar tender had a beard he was sooo nice friendly and helpful !

Unfortunately this Resturant was a major disappointment.

I never take the time to write restaurant reviews unless the restaurant is great enough to share with other people. In this case, it was so bad, I had to share with people.

My wife and i had lunch today for the first time at the Juniper grill , the atmosphere was nice, the service was fine but the food was terrible.
I had the smokehouse platter with Brisket and sausage. The sausage tasted like a dry over cooked hotdog, is was really disgusting.
The meal that we had was highly recommended by the waitress and sadly she was wrong.
The Brisket was super fatty mostly covered in bbq sauce . The part that was not covered in sauce had no flavor and tasted like it was fresh out of the microwave.
The quality of the food was really disappointing and disgusting .. I usually would never write a critical review but after spending $60 on such poor quality and prepared food, I just had to share .. I would not recommend this place to anyone .

Not going back to this one..

Food and service were very good. Restaurant is clean and allows for uncrowded dining. It's noisy but that's their intent. Unstructured ceilings. Looking forward to my next visit.

We were 4 for dinner. 2 had fish tacos with the corn instead of beans and rice at our server D’s suggestion and said that was a good choice. 1 had the burger, that she said was excellent. I ordered the short ribs and it and the mashed potatoes came out stone cold. I think they were short staffed as I had to go find D after waiting some minutes looking at my cold plate. She had the manager bring me a new plate and apologies, but the meat and potatoes were still barely warm. In the interest of not disrupting our whole party I soldiered on. I suggest the kitchen invest in a Termapen and stick the dishes before serving to guests!

We selected Juniper to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday with a private dinner party. My wife worked with Lacy Olsen on the menu and setup. I arrived the night of the party for setup. Manager Chris greeted me for any assistance needed. Aleyah and Chloe were our serves for the night and they both did and excellent job taking care of our every need. Food and Drinks were awesome. Lots of compliments from our guest. Thanks to everyone involved who made this a special night for our daughter.

I want to like this place more, but this is the second time I’ve come for lunch and been slightly disappointed. I ordered the chicken street tacos as an appetizer and the rotisserie chicken and avocado salad for my main course. The tacos were good however, the pieces of chicken were too big and slightly overcooked so that when you took a bite, the whole piece came sliding out. Chicken should’ve been shredded more. We did not finish these.

The salad was just OK. Separately, I like all of the ingredients in it, but together they made for a very sweet salad between the dates, the corn, and the cornbread croutons. The balance of sweet and savory was way off, and the chicken was again cut too big and slightly overcooked, making it tough.

I really like the decor and ambience of this restaurant, and I have friends who really enjoy it. I don’t drink, and I haven’t been here for dinner yet. I’m willing to give it another chance, but I will not be ordering a salad!

Eat here pretty much every visit to Charlotte. Tried a great deal of the menu and have never been disappointed (favorites: Cajun-style grilled mahi mahi handheld, rotisserie chicken & avocado salad, wood grilled salmon). The food is fantastic. Great little outside seating area, always good service.

The atmosphere is well done. Not exclusive, not formal but nice, slightly refined, comfortable but not stuffy..... a collared shirt type of place.

Ok.... the service is above average. Not fantastic, not flawless but your glass will rarely go empty.

A BIG ONE FOR ME..... they have Mojitos year-round. Finding a nice place that serves a good mojito with muddled mint is a bit of a rare find in the Ballantyne area.

The BEST Chilean Sea Bass if have had, hands down. I have had this dish in DC, NY, Miami and many other cities and places but the Chilean Sea Bass here is the best. If there is another place that is better I have yet to find it. The dish here is consistent in prep, cooking and all aspects of execution. Served over seafood grits, with garlic sautéed spinach and a romesco sauce. I usually get the grilled asparagus. (The chef should cut the woody ends off or be selective and discard the older, thicker ones).

An appetizer of the street chicken tacos is a great way to start off the visit.
