Fast food sushi without the fast food taste. Great place in uptown to grab a few rolls to go or miso on a cold rainy day. Order ahead and it will likely be ready when you walk in. Folks working there are friendly and do a great job giving you a quick healthy meal when you're eating on the run.

We recently got take-out from this fantastic sushi spot. We were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance is inviting, although a small place it packs a punch. Let's talk about the sushi - it was beyond exceptional. Each piece was a masterpiece, meticulously crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that was enjoyed to the last bite. The variety of rolls and sashimi offered catered to every palate, from traditional favorites to inventive creations like the "Botz roll" and "ez roll". What truly stood out were the talented chefs behind the counter. The tall chef showcased remarkable precision and finesse in his knife skills, effortlessly crafting each sushi roll. Meanwhile, the short chef brought a burst of energy and enthusiasm to the kitchen. The service was impeccable, with an attentive young man at the register ensuring that every need was met promptly. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, enhancing my dining experience even further. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking some great sushi. Five stars without a doubt!

This is typically a place I wouldn't notice, but I'm glad someone shared it with me!! Food is great and fresh. I've never had a bad experience. My only request would be for later hours.

As sushi goes, the best kept secret in Charlotte. Working uptown, I have ordered from here hundreds of times and they do not miss. Tekka Boxes are always light, very fresh, and perfectly wrapped. The Fireworks roll is better than any 'fancy' roll you'll pay fifty bucks for at a sit down place. Nice family owned business, and reasonably priced.

Fulfilled my craving! Honestly pretty good I wanted to try a random spot I’ve never been to and this place didn’t disappoint. I ordered a to go through Google, I got fried spicy shrimp roll and a spicy crab roll. The staff member was very warm and welcoming !They give u a good amount of sauce and they even put an empty container for my soy sauce :)The only thing I will say is that it’s in the city so prepare to look for parking!

I used to go to (and order from) KO Sushi a few year back when I lived uptown. I was uptown last week coming into the office for the first time in a while and felt like sushi so I decided to try my old favorite. I ordered 2 rolls and was extremely disappointed in how far they have fallen. My sushi rolls we so salty I couldnt eat them, and they looked nothing like the fresh sushi I was used to. I had the dragon roll and the crispy roll and I ended up tossing most of it. I wont be going back.

Top notch sashimi with big flavor. Good wasabi. Rolls had a lot of filler and rice unfortunately. Overall great price.

Service is nice! Here it can take a while to get your order sometimes, depending on your order. I always get a sushi box or roll and then dumplings. Dumplings are so so good, they don't plate them until you arrive if you ordered online, so if you go during lunch just be prepared to wait a little longer if you order them, or any hot dishes I would assume.I usually get some kind of spicy tuna roll or California roll with added spicy Mayo and eel sauce. Always good and addicting because the food is good and prices are fair.

I ordered delivery. Everything was delicious! My only complaint... sent diet coke instead of regular coke, and there was nowhere that I saw to avoid the wasabi and ginger on the website for just my roll. I hate both and prefer they are not included! I did not worry about it because I did not add them so I presumed they would not be included. Still gave 5 stars for their good food and great customer service! (I had to call due to an issue with delivery service and it was corrected immediately!) And you gotta try the Kiro! It was fantastic!

One of the worst restaurants in Charlotte and they even charge for everything when you use the credit card they’ll take the credit card ? fee fee of credit card from the customers which is a cheating and a rip off from the restaurant owner which he can’t do that and he charged for everything even for the hot sauce. And also on the receipts you can order chicken ? udon soup ? regular price $10 but you see they’ve charged $10.60 and that .60 cents is the credit card fee and same as shrimp ? sumai and these are outrageous charges and they can’t even provide hot sauce and asked for .50 cents for the hot sauce and that’s a unprofessional and will loose customers like that

Searching for sushi in Charlotte and came across this spot. Small location, no parking on the street but noticed patrons were double parking in front to get their takeout orders. Two small areas to eat at inside, both at the windows on either side of the door and two chairs per section. Must scan the QR code at the cash register to see the menu, but they also have the menu up on the wall behind the cash register. They offer appetizers, soups, salads, sashimi, Maki rolls, special rolls, drinks, and sides. Extra sides of sauces come with an additional fee. Prices are reasonable for sushi, based on my experience of living in NYC with NYC sushi prices anyway.Ordered the house and mini house salad, steamed shrimp shumai, chubby roll, and perfect match roll. All to go. Waited about 15 minutes and they had a decent flow of customers coming in and out while we waited. They put their food in Styrofoam, which I haven't seen in a while as NY doesn't really use Styrofoam anymore. But they were willing to put the food in plastic instead, which was great. The guy at the counter taking orders was pleasant and friendly as well.Food itself was tasty and fresh. Lost one star because the house salad had a small fruit fly in it when we pulled the food out of the bag. Sushi was delicious. They gave forks, chopsticks, napkins and soy sauce packs in the bag. Shumai was also tasty. All together we paid $32.50. They take cash or card.I'd try them again if I find myself in the area in the future.
