Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar (Tyvola Rd Location)

The food was delicious. The chef Luis G was AMAZING. Very entertaining and very friendly. He definitely wasn’t stingy with putting seasonings on the food lol. Which is a good thing. It was extremely HOT in the restaurant today and I’m sure it has nothing to do with the grills they are cooking on. Someone might want to look at the air conditioner unit. Because I know the staff has to be hotter than the guest. Other than the AC not working it was a great time.

Restaurant has mediocre food, the noodles definitely were not a good additive to the meal. The restaurant is rundown and very dirty, AC was pretty much nonexistent on a hot day. The chef was sweating all over food and just was not a good experience, I will not be returning.

We had such a fun time at Kabuto Japanese Steak House! Our hibachi chef, Luis B, was amazing—super talented and absolutely hilarious. He kept us entertained the whole time while cooking everything perfectly. Great food, great laughs, and a great experience overall. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Booked a birthday reservation a whole MONTH in advance for 8 people, put notes on my reservation that I wanted a specific chef and that I wanted my significant other to be surprised by singing happy birthday. Not only did we not get the correct chef, but the chef we got was very boring, barely said a word, did not entertain or do anything that the other chefs did, but I asked the chef and the waitress TWICE if he was going to be sung happy birthday and they barely acknowledged me and then proceeded to bring out everyone’s checks and added extra gratuity to everyone’s checks. Horrible experience and if you’re wanting a special night for someone I highly DO NOT recommend this place. They clearly do not pay attention to reservation details and do not care even when you bring it up in person.

It for the first time that we visited this restaurant. I was disappointed in the food. We just had the single serving for seniors. It was Steak, noodles, Fried Rice and veggies with soup. The steak was tough, rice very dry. We will try again.

The food here is amazing the staff is sweet kind and very attentive. I'll look for my next time going here it was just a totally satisfying experience.

Owner & his neice were super nice folks! Food was hot & fresh. I wasn't a fan of their yum yum sauce but that's just me. Dishes were a bit expensive. For 2 adults dining in on a Saturday afternoon our bill was $71.35. 2 entrees & 2 soft drinks. So be prepared. Overall we enjoyed our dishes.
